Why didn't they produce more Zaku Kai? They seem more capable than the F2
>>23570148Maybe the cost outweighed the benefits, they're both late war variants right so maybe the focus was inclined to more Zakus than better Zakus and if you need a better mobile suit use a Dom or Gelgoog. This is just me guessing though.
>>23570148Because the war was basically over at that point.
Cause it was supposed to just be the zaku but drawn different.
>>23570198If they're going to acknowledge the design differences in universe we can talk about those differences in universe.
because if you take all spinoff materials at their word, zeon made like 50 different variation suits that were straight upgrades and then stockpiled them...with less than a month left in the war, so just moving them away from Solomon or wherever would've taken up more time, let alone actually deploying them>imagine being the MS mechanic who has to go from working on Zaku Is to a different suit every week>there's explosions going on outside of the base and your boss tells you to start reading the materials for a new gelgoog variant getting shipped here in a week>you haven't even worked on the normal gelgoog
>>23570239The EF development timeline is even worse. They went from having nothing to having basically a new MS every week for like 3 months. And somehow some of those new ms were upgrades of ms from just a few weeks ago.
>>23570148Basically what >>23570185 said. The events of War in the Pocket take place within like a week of the OYW ending. And at that point Zeon was pretty much done making zaku anyways and were shifting focus over to the Gelgoog.
>>23570202I wish we could go back to ignoring it but 0083 has plain ass mobile suits in its intro yet 0080 stuff shows up too.
>>23570545I find 0083 pretty easy to ignore.
