I started watching through Goranger and the shift in watching an episode of that followed by this is insane. I can't imagine being a 5 year old getting my brian melted by this show every week.

Which main reiwa character died permanently before the final arc? I think Revice is the only that's done it but it was a non-character villain general and a non-character support chara, so ultimately it didn't feel imoactful either way

Zero-One had Assantsu-chan but he got an identical replacement, otherwise Waz was a guest character, Jin and Raiden revived.
Saber had Calibur permanently die, and the two Megid died before the last quarter I think? Then there's Tassel dying in the final arc.
Donbrothers killed all of the additional Nouto and Miho but that was the final arc.

Geats had Girori but he revived in the end.
All of Boonboomger villains sans Cannonborg revived at some point.
Gavv had Jeebh's sister and Suga although he was weird. I forget if the Amazons mentor was credited as a main character before his death.
Ultimately yeah Toei has no balls, even though the producer has the freedom to permanently kill multiple characters, even riders and extra rangers as long as they get no new toys, they don't because either the characters become popular or because the producer befriends the actor removing their desire to kill.
