I've been coming to /m/ for at least a decade and I really haven't watched that much mecha anime. Most of what I have seen is Gundam and even then I haven't watched every series yet. I haven't watched shit like Geass or Evangelion yet, and certainly not much of older things like Mazinger Z. I feel like a fake /m/an sometimes, I really do click with giant robot cartoons and adjacent media but I just don't watch much of anything nowadays.>>23582615I watched half of Dragonar with crabstick subs. /m/ anime and manga is shit and I hate it. I think I like the idea of giant robots more than actual attempts at incorporating it into a narrative. I can name the number of mecha manga/shows I liked on one hand and I've seen at least a hundred of them. Feels like I'm sticking around to score THE BIG ONE and I've just not seen it yet.
