From your experience, do decals on bare plastic end up peeling off? If so how long after application?I decaled a clear part so I can't topcoat it, just did setter + softener

How common is it for builders to just go for a straight out of bottle paintjob without any mixing?I'd be lying if I wasn't tempted to just scroll through an online store and pick a color closest to the one I want instead of following the 3-4 color mixes prescribed in the manual.

Finished snapping together R-Gray 1, will probably end up fully painting it, since there are quite a lot of areas that still need proper color separation.
I'm building this thing right now and I'm like 80% done (pic not mine obv). Pretty impressive for a recolor of a 3-4(?) year old Chinese kit. Fitment has been great. The MG Astraea Type-F I just built looked nice, but was shedding pieces and flopping around and took me forever because I lost motivation. This made me want to build again.
