Everyone is saying the urd hunt portion is rushed and they all still hate the mcs voice actress. I never knew Japanese people could be so savage in their hate of a voice actor but they absolutely despise her. They're at the edge of telling her to kill herself. Anyway most people love the Tekkadan portion and say it's nice slice of life content. The end.

Remember that IBO was originally planned at the same time as AGE but got delayed for years because of casting and staffing issues and when they finally got everyone production was still a mess and they made a bunch of changes to S2 that were unplanned even though the story was finished before production started. The Gekko manga was a mess too, drawn by two amateur no-name mangaka. And the Urdr Hunt game came 8 years after the show and was a mess. IBO's merchandising success was undeserved. It was carried by good designs. I won't even start with WFM and Gcucks. The merch died off pretty quickly so I'm assuming they were actually failures outside the main gundams. Once the older gunota die off, Gundam is fucked.

And one crucial detail not even the movie revealed: Marchosias, what is known today as the Hajiroboshi, is the Baklazan family Gundam that was lost during the Calamity War. I suspect this is damage control from Bandai and Sunrise for the people who are angry about revealing nothing in the movie. No buildup, no narration, nothing, just a last-minute printing of the Baklazan crest on the cape while in production.
