What are your thoughts on this /m/?
Like 90% of everything, it's bad. It's actually impressive with how much money Gundam makes yet there is barely a double handful of good Gundam manga.

I have read it to the latest chapter. Ngl, not really liking it especially when the ugly bastard possessing the nun. Dunno on how Inoue is going to resolve that since I'm not really familiar with his body of work

Honestly, my biggest gripe with this is that is called 'Gundam', it's just a shock value series using a Gundam skin. Guess Gundam Eight does it's thing better without being too 'out there'.

>>23622396Neither of them went far enough for the space concept to matter. If humanity was already colonizing other planets, then there should be interplanetary wars. Mars fighting Earth. Mercury fighting Venus. The Different moons of Saturn declaring war on eachother. Yet Gundam always hesitates with this. What's the point of setting the show on Mars when being on a different planet doesn't even matter? The only thing it does is increase travel time between planets for the characters. That's it.

Depending on the stages of development for colonies and government structure, they may not be able to wage war. IBO is all about this, and to a lesser extent and in a different way G-Witch covers this as well. The ruling government and their various subsidiaries keep their vassal states destitute and dependent. IBO season 2 does ramp up into war and a military coup, but Gjallarhorn shuts it down by naturally being the stronger force.
