One of the worst episodes of Gozyuger so far sadly, this recap didn't feel organic at all because it wasn't. I was feeling hopeful despite the reshoots because last week's episode was somehow one of Gozyuger's bests.
I want to remain hopeful because next episode has Kiramager's director who was awesome and we're past to last minutes re-edits with the following episodes being reshoots or partial reshoots. But I'm scared these last episodes will all feel weirdly edited or rushed.

Ultimately the ones that are probably going to suffer the most are the other actors from Seju now that the whole agency has been discredited

I assume that it was because it was a Kuon focused episode thus not involving Sumino in any relevant manner, not even for small interactions like the fashion episode
The preview for this episode made it seem like Sumino wasn't going to be involved but seeing the fight I think that the original plan was to make Ribbon into Sumino's personal rival, which might still happen now that the following episodes will have Kohaku playing Sumino
I just find it weird that this episode was seemingly always intended to release before Ryugi used the armor or that they would create a whole new villain to serve as an exclusive rival for Sumino this late into the show when Kinjiro and ShiningKnife&SweetCake will seemingly stay without rivalries up to the very end

Maya got treated harsher than other actors with controversies because her agency's contract is extremely shitty because her agency is shitty and the reason the tabloids blew this way more out of proportion is because it's the 50th anniversary of a popular long running franchise meaning that if scandals like these break out they earn more money. Revice was the same and I that case it was far worse because Aguilera's actress quite literally did nothing wrong yet her shitty agency almost cost her whole livelihood, I also notice that most people that take this racism angle also refuse to acknowledge how they're cashing in on Asai's illness.

But Super Sentai had barely any effect on Metal Heroes, Toei just wanted to make a Robocon revival, it overlapped with Robotack so they had it take over its timeslot then because they hadn't had a proper idea on what to do next they took the Kamen Rider pitch from Ishinomori who kept pitching for different companies getting rejected. After that he died and Kuuga's producer Takatera decided to reinvent/destroy the image Kamen Rider had honoring Ishinomori's desire for this season to be unlike any other, then Shirakura completely got rid of the shared continuity aspect with Agito who was supposed to be the last Rider show and then because Agito's success and Shirakura's pitch of Ryuki following the cross of fire rule they decided to consider Ryuki Kamen Rider instead of a new franchise or Metal Heroes. After all that Takatera wanted Kamen Rider to enter hiatus again because the franchise started focusing on Rider VS Rider but people citing Hibiki not feeling like Kamen Rider as part of its failure resulted on Toei still trying to continue Kamen Rider until they hit jackpot with Den-O which from then on the franchise has seen a non-stop period of financial success.
Then because Kamen Rider's expirimental nature, rising costs not allowing Toei to make 3 simultaneous year-long toku and Metal Heroes' vagueness as franchise they decide to not continue the franchise.

Point is I don't see what would you want Kamen Rider to die when its earnings are part of the reason Super Sentai was still allowed to exist and why Project R.E.D can be a thing in the first place, specially since you can just choose to not watch Kamen Rider.
