Are we ever going to get anime closure on full metal panic? I know invisible war took a million years to happen but jfc why aren't any studios working on this.I am not reading the fucking book like a nerd.
>>23650421Sunrise's buyout of Xebec killed any chance of them adapting itdon't worry thoigj, Sunrise Beyond is busy doing assistance for isekai slop for other studios!
>>23650421Play the PS4 game. It's great, finishes the story and even has what-if scenarios
>>23650421I suppose eventually
>>23650431Nani? I swear i remember a gundam game doing that what if gimmick if its made by the same guys.
>>23650421Didn't the author get cancelled?
>>23650536Not really. Although it did result in having the absolute worst /m/ thread I recall in recent memory, which was practically six years ago Christ almighty
>>23650421>I am not reading the fucking book like a nerd.>says the nerd
>>23650543elaborate.
Look, I'm genuinely surprised more people don't shitpost about how the story goes to some real newtype shenanigans territory in the final quarter. That said, it is incredibly funny to me how the Lambda Driver ultimately ends up being the most elaborate way of affirming Al's nature as a truly realized artificial general intelligence.
>>23650896wasn't it always newtype shit? Doesn't the Lamba driver make thought into reality or some similar nonsense?
I like Tessa significantly more than Chidori. I feel like Tessa works better with Sousuke too.
>>23650431>>23650479>>23651048Nta, but it's more than not the only shot at a Tessa and Sousuke ending. That's off course, you wish to ignore the workplace relationship problem
>>23650543Do tell. Sounds like the most /m/ recognition fmp got.Didnt he say greta thunberg should die or something?
>>23650896I love fmp but the whispered or whatever it was called is only there to justify the kawaii animu girlz being present so sosuke can go on a giant robot adventure to rescue his girlfriend. And im fine with that. The whispered thing was dumb and i dont expect any newtype tier interesting writing to come of it.
>>23651855No it was something about veganism iirc. In the end it amounted towards nothing but the thread somehow had unwanted guests from other boards
>>23651870Edit: but yeah it did have greta I forgot to mention lol. I actually almost forgot about her she kinda just vanished from online discussion entirely, then again this was well over half a decade ago
>>23651872Every board is vulnerable to that when things get /pol/ enough.Shoji Gatoh is way too vocal.
>>23651855>Didnt he say greta thunberg should die or something?Something like she should be forced to eat meat iirc
>>23651858>so sosuke can go on a giant robot adventure to rescue his girlfriendyeah, only one
>>23651858The Whisperer being the same kind of nonlinear time psychic fuckery that Narrative presents Newtypes as potentially being, though.
>>23650421This show filtered me really, really hard. Couldn't even manage 3 episodes.
>>23652502Rocky start. Like reeeaaally rocky start. Season 1 feels like something 4kids did. You force yourself half way through then suddenly you love it. Season 3 and 4 are where the money is but you need the shitty info from season 1 to know whats going on.
>>23653103I've heard it be compared to Muv Luv, which for the sake of argument I'll assume is fair...but see, I liked Extra. A lot, actually. And I can't fucking stand this show. Half way, you say?
>>23651872>I actually almost forgot about her she kinda just vanished from online discussion entirelyShe started actually calling out the problems that matter and the asswipes who puppeteer the media got pissed and stopped giving her coverage.>>23650421They really cliffhangered the "recent" season too with the sense of going toward the final battle, yet it's still not getting followed up on, that stinks.
>>23653145half way into season 1 that is. Trust me i was like you first time i watched it i just couldn't get past episode 2 but then i came back a year later looking for fresh /m/ and tried it again. Still, rocky start but it got interesting. If you make it over the hill you will really appreciate what it has in following seasons. (except season 2 which my aswell be lucky star but you can totally skip it.)
>>23653255Fuckin awesome finale invisible war had too.
>>23653331>except season 2 which my as well be lucky star but you can totally skip itIf you're referring to Fumoffu, them you are extremely gay and retarded
>>23650421No. Stop asking. There's a ps4 game if you want to experience the rest of the story.
>>23653343Tell me the importance of it then.
Is the PS4 game genuinely a good way to finish the story after watching the anime? Did it even get a proper English release? And is it possible to play as the best FMP character (Pony)? Did any of the manga finish the story off?
>>23653503That is so defeatist though. Gotta buy or emulate a ps4 and game to see the ending to an anime? Wth...
>>23654713Alternatively, you gotta read a book to see the ending of a book series. Who would’ve thunk
>>23654763In 14 years youll remember this conversation
Read the LN. It's very short compared to slop like isekai LNs.
>>23653503It's a good game so if you like FMP there's no reason to avoid it. It got one of those English subtitled releases you can get on play-asia and the likePlays like what I remember Sakura Wars playing like combat-wise, but more advanced because of loadouts and skills (though I haven't played a SW in 15 years so maybe there was more to it than I remember). Goes through the original & TSR in just a few stages essentially as a tutorial and then the real game is IV and beyond. Alas, no Pony
>>23655314I DO like Sakura Wars so you've peaked my interest, maybe I'll check it out! Thank you!
