Time to fry some rice, /m/en
>>23652034Side 3 has fallen to the AEUG's rebellion. Emboldened by the AEUG's numerous victories in space, the anti-Federation organization "Karaba" emerges from its hit-and-run based attacks against the Titans to initiate all-out warfare across Asia. While fighting intensifies in the region, Hayato Kobayashi, survivor of the One Year War and crewman of the White Base, negotiates with other sponsors moving to invest into Karaba's anti-Titan maneuvers.>Hayato: It is still far to early for us to try and secure California Base. Even the garrisons there that have expressed dissatisfaction with the Titans are not about to just give us support unless we can prove our intentions.>Investor: Luio and Company have already made their move. Unless we act now, they will be overran! Now is not the time for acting so timid in the face of victory!>Karaba Representative: Mister Kobayashi, we have the means to turn the east coast forces to our side. That alone will give us the push we need to convince those still on the fence at California to->Hayato: Excuse me, there is something I need to check on. Stepping away from the private conference call, Hayato moves to check on Fraw. As he is about to arrive in their bedroom, he is nearly tripped by the families "Haro" that had remained with them since the previous wars end.>Hayato: Watch where you going!>Haro: SORRY, MISTER PAPA! >Kikka: Haro, where did you roll off to~? Opening the door to his bedroom, Hayato finds Fraw fighting off a fever, while Katz and Letz both tend to her. >Fraw: You are all to worried about me. The pregnancy is just->Katz: Haro is grabbing some more medicine now. Oh, dad...>Hayato: Katz. How is your mother doing, Letz?>Letz: Should we call a doctor? I am just worried she is going to feel this way->Fraw: Please, you are all overeating. >Hayato: Katz, walk with me. We need to talk.>Katz:...So, its starting then?
>>23652125This is gonna be one of those runs where Hayato loses everything isn't?
>>23652177when hasn't that been the case?
Awww Amuro was tongue deep in pink muff while Fraw was face down for midget dick.
Do you think Amuro eats pussy? I don't feel like making a thread about this.
>>23652125While Letz continues to dote on his adopted mother, Hayato and Katz observe a recently delivered Agg amphibious Mobile Suit being renovated for display.>Hayato:...I can't stop you, can I? >Katz: One way or another, I need to be out there with the others getting ready to fight. I am not going to let a Zeon be born from within the Federation->Hayato: Do you have any idea how hurt your mother will be if you don't return? >Katz: Not to sound out of line, but I will be coming back alive. >Hayayo: Such youthful arrogance coming out of you->Katz: It isn't like that. I...have to come back to her. If you don't return alive, she will spend the rest of her life alone. I owe it to miss Fraw and Amuro->Hayato: Never use Amuro as a justifier for this. Even from repairing Haro, your trying to become a mirror of him...not me.>Katz: Dad, I am not trying to->Hayato: A rebellion is likely to break out by months end. Once you throw yourself into that madness, there won't be any running. It won't be like the other operations i've brought you along for.>Katz: I know. Mister Ford, Agar...the Titans are going to pay for what they did to them! [Katz has received EXP and stat bonus's for his previous activities with Karaba] Listening from across the room, Kikka plants a small kiss to the top of Haro.>Kikka: Keep Papa and Big Brother safe for us, ok Haro? >Haro: HARO. UNDERSTOOD, SISTER.
>>23652272>>Katz: Not to sound out of line, but I will be coming back alive.he's going to run into Kamille immediately and die just as fast
>>23652272COPY WHAT ARE YOU DOING? WHY ARE YOU MAKING KATZ A CAPABLE RIVAL FOR KAMILLE?
>>23652272FORD BROS...AGAR BROS...IS IT OVER...?
>>23651592Katz is currently one rank higher than Kamille (C as opposed to D) and Kamille only has two combat stats higher by one point than Katz, where they are otherwise basically tied. He's going to be Kamille's rival.
>>23652286Oops, meant for >>23652277 I don't know why fucked that up, I guess I was going to respond to that at some point
>>23652289Not really worried about him, he'll get burst down like he usually does
>kamille is going to get his shit rocked by katz in an aggthis is going to be such a delicious humiliation ritual
>>23652282Kamille and Sarah have similar stats to Katz despite being lower Skill rank. They will probably dwarf him as they skill up.>>23652285Wonder what they did, they are usually pretty chill guys.
>>23652303In canon they both were Titans but got washed out for actually stopping terrorists instead of enabling them so the titans could justify more expansion. They became MS instructors with Kou.
>>23652326Oh, i just misread the line i though he said Ford, Agar. and the Titans needed to pay but the Titans did something to Ford and Agar.
>>23652331Yeah, they got dishonorably discharged. So no bennies.
>>23652272[EPISODE 8: GENERATIONAL WARFARE]>Titan Commander: The rebels that have gathered in China not only have taken control of multiple of the RX-79's that were assigned to its defense, but a Pegasus-class vessel that was slated for decommissioning. The Senate has called for a direct intervention to be halted until negotiations can be made, but this has not stopped the insurrectionist from occupying both the Japanese mainland and numerous Oceanic territories. We also have reason to believe that the refineries and factories in China have been utilized for mass producing newer Mobile Suits.>Titan Soldier 1: Just send us at them then! Its about time that we put down those bleeding hearted alien lovers!>Titan Soldier 2: Jedediah...love the enthusiasm, but the Federals will try to get you drummed out with talk like that.>Titan Soldier 1: Let em try. >Kamille: So the plan is squad will be going in first then? >Titan Soldier 3: Pipe down, Gundam boy. Just cause you've got that new toy doesn't mean that->Titan Commander: Actually, that is precisely the plan. All we need you to do is draw out that Pegasus-class so that we can move in and finish it off. >Titan Soldier 4: So all we get are the scraps?! >Titan Commander: Dismissed. Newtype->Kamille: Don't call me that.>Titan Commander: Watch that tone. We've prepared a newer model Hyper Bazooka for your use, along with additional Base Jabbers. Even if you are some kind of one-man army, don't take them all out. >Kamille: Your men really need their table scraps, huh? >Titan Commander: I am going to ignore that just this once. Dismissed.Kamille's formation of Mobile Suits is completed, with three Hizack Custom's being sent, along with a Gundam-Type painted in the Titans colors for NT-001's use. >Kamille:...Look, can you just think of a name? I don't want to keep talking to you like your some kind of a robot.>NT-001: I am not a robot. I am NT-001->Kamille: How about just...I dunno, NT? En-tee. Ok?
>>23652272>Katz' whole deal is that he just hates Zeon and anything he deems to be like ZeonJust wait until the Haman Files are released and this kid will switch sides so fast it'll make your head spin. I'm kind of not joking here. That Zeon-AEUG subplot has to go somewhere eventually and Katz is gonna seriously struggle to accept it.
>>23652272>>23652282>>23652286I think Copy X is trying to make a trio of rival aces to mirror canon Zeta. In canon Kamille had Jerid, Yazan, and Scirocco as rivals to fight. Now our Titans AEUG has Mezun Mex, Katz, and Quattro as rivals in roughly the same space. Mezun and Jerid are militant men just a little older than Kamille that he gets punched by and have a strong sense of desire. Katz and Yazan are wild cards with great combat ability (at least Katz this run), while Scirocco and Quattro are powerful newtype masterminds.
>>23652351>Newtype Researcher: Hostile's detected! The Medea is going to pull back once you've been dropped off, so make due with the supplies from the outpost not far from here. >Kamille: Sure are a lot of them...>Newtype Researcher: Not getting cold feet, are you? >Kamille: I'll be fine. >Newtype Researcher: One more thing before you drop. NT-001->Kamille: Just call her NT to keep it short, alright?>Newtype Researcher: Whatever kid. In the case she does panic out there, you just assert that she needs to keep killing. >Kamille: Excuse me? >Newtype Researcher: The rehabilitation just finished, so we have no idea if there is going to be any relapses to how she used to act.>Kamille: Wouldn't you want the opposite then? >Newtype Researcher: She will listen to whatever you tell her, so if she does freak out, just assure her that she is doing well at fighting. Don't...how do I explain this...don't try to coddle her out there. If she gets stuck in her own head, that is just going to be a liability for all of you. Looking over to NT-001, Kamille finds her staring out to the clouds, her eyes flickering with the slightest signs of interest outside of her programming.>Kamille:...Is this what Jamitov thinks about Newtypes? That they should be like how she is?>Newtype Researcher: She's an exception. You want to blame anyone for how she is? Blame Zeon. Alright everyone, its time to suit up! Good hunting out there! Deploying from the Medea to the surface below, Kamille and his squadron mobilize to take control over a nearby outpost that had been abandoned during Karaba's advance. >Kamille: Rifle team, keep anything from coming at us from the air. En-Tee, just follow my lead and->NT-001: That cloud...looks a lot like a mushroom. Don't you think so...Zero? >Kamille: Huh? Stay focused out there->Hizack Custom pilot: Incoming movement! Karaba is coming!
>>23652384Alright Kamille, don't go jobbing after talking shit
>>23652384>NT-001: That cloud...looks a lot like a mushroom. Don't you think so...Zero?How can we defund the research of the labs and throw it to the trashcan? It sucks to babysit these subhumans.
>>23652384Arriving at the abandoned outpost, Kamille readies a clumsy, yet practical formation at the bases front where additional supplies can be gathered for resupply purposes. >Hizack Custom pilot 1: We aren't charging at them?>Kamille: I'd like to, but they still have us outnumbered. If they want to try crashing against us, let them give it their best shot. Taking point in front of the Karaba formation, six RX-79 Ground Gundam's take aim with their 180mm cannons to fire from afar. >Hizack Custom pilot 2: Gah! They are trying to bombard our position!>Kamille: They are giving away their positions! Target in that direction and fire until we can draw them out! Kamille opens fire with his Bazooka, while the Hizack Custom's at his rear fire multiple high intensity beam shots in the direction of the Ground Gundam's long range assault. >Karaba Commander: They are going to pick us off like this! Prepare for close combat! Taking them out should draw the other Titans forward! While Kamille and the others reload, The Ground Gundam formation moves forward to continue their attack at a closer range. Raising her Gundam's beam rifle, NT-001 fires a perfectly aimed shot through one of the Ground Gundam's torso, vaporizing its pilot. >Hizack Custom pilot 3: Hey, nice shot! A real bullseye! That makes one bagged and tagged! Just a couple dozen left to->NT-001: Mmmm...! >Kamille: En-Tee, what is the matter?! Your targeting system just shut off->NT-001: Killed...him. I just...auaaa...!! >Kamille: Of course you did! This is a battlefield- Kamille feels his stomach churning, with him feeling a burst of overly empathic emotions pouring onto his mind from NT-001. >Hizack Custom pilot 1: Did you get hit?! Protect the Lieutenant! Feeling NT-001's naked emotions ramming against his thoughts, Kamille learns of the girls immense terror of the concept of death, with her over empathically sensing the pain of those slain in battle by her own hands.
>>23652426Man, babysitting the cybers is going to be a huge pain in the ass, isn't it
>>23652439I still want to know who the retard is that took all of the dumb faggot newtype researchers from zeon, looked at their shit and went>this is worth investing in!while their psycommu development was pretty good, their actual research into human/nt enhancement was hot trash and should have never been picked up by the feds
>>23652458>I still want to know who the retard is that took all of the dumb faggot newtype researchers from zeon, looked at their shit and went>this is worth investing in!It was Jamitov who did it. Being a contolist and all he believed in the possibility of newtypes but went about it in the exact wrong way. Picking up right where the Flanagan institute left off and turning research labs into slaughter factories. That's also why he handed a command position to Scirocco when he showed up and displayed his newtype powers.
>>23652426>Kamille: Why would you send someone like this to fight?! What were you thinking, Jamitov?! Boosting in front of NT-001's Gundam, Kamille blocks multiple incoming shells and bullets being directed at her. >Kamille: Snap out of it! Do you want to die out here?! >NT-001: Zero...! Please wake up...Zero...!! Kamille feels his senses being bombarded by visions of a green haired young man around his age bound and forcefully knelt before Jamitov, with the Titan's leader planting a gun against his head as NT-001 is forced to watch the execution.>Hizack Custom pilot 2: More of them are coming! Lieutenant, get her on a Jabber! She's just dead weight like this! >How will Kamille use his mental connection with NT-001? https://strawpoll.com/1Mnwk3675n7
>>23652493Man Leila is such a detriment, ffsShit sucks for her but I want nothing to do with her and I feel like every choice besides weapon is going to shove her into the Newtype girlfriend slot
>>23652493Okay let's look at these: 1. She fights, but we're basically making her a perma-weapon2. She might fight, create dependency on Kamille3. Create extremely fragile mental conditioning that will fall apart the moment the actual Zero shows up4. Lose her.But we also got told by the scientists to not try to treat her like a human >Newtype Researcher: Whatever kid. Good hunting out there!
>cyber newtype lab harem>i sleep>axis real newtype threesome>HOLY FUCK
>>23652493This decision will shape the relation Kamille will have with NT and how he views the cyber newtypes as a whole most likely.Pretending to be Zero and forcing her to leave the battle are just bad ideas. The first will cause problems later on, while the later will have her loose access to exp and leveling up. Kamille also definitely needs her help in this fight.Stripping away NTs humanity and calling her a weapon would certainly work, but it'd make Kamille more violent and barbaric. Telling her Kamille needs help isn't a lie but as >>23652510 says it'd create a dependency.I say go got number 2 and tell NT that Kamille needs her help. She'll be dependent on him but having her by his side would be a great help in combat. And every good leader needs a loyal follower.
>>23652510>>23652523Let her create dependency in us, what does it matter? One more characters we can use in combat if we move on from here.
Is Kamille-Leila, Buran-Rosamia now?
>>23652530Kamille and NT working together and being close also works well on a narrative level. It's him following Lila's wishes for him to work with the Titans especially newtypes, and in a meta sense Kamille really will need help getting revenge on Char and asserting himself.
>>23652493Kinda want to just send her away. Babysitting unstable cybers is a pain. Rosamia is the most stable unstable cyber that Kamille should take under his wing.
>>23652510>But we also got told by the scientists to not try to treat her like a human The scientists that are a constant liability and betray us every campaign are not very trustworthy. Look at what they did already.
>>23652493I made my points for evil Kamille and I'm sticking to it. Let's make [KAMILLE] a reality!
>>23652458Zeon's stuff at least worked, this run's newtype labs seems to be oops all torture.
>>23652562Without any proper guidance Titan NT research usually ends up as oops all torture.>>23652560We've already had a few different flavors of evil Kamille already. We haven't really had a stable Kamille in awhile.
>>23652530I think the biggest issue is how strong Kamille's empath side is, NT01 is gonna be inside his head for every choice but get her out of there.
Someone who can't fight doesn't belong on the battlefield. Simple as.
>>23652571I kinda want petty dickbag Kamille to last as long as possible, kinda lost a chance with scirocco's mindfuckery, but the longer he stays sulky and lashing out the more fun.
>>23652573It wouldn't be so bad if we could get inside her mind too. I don't think she can really hurt us like Four did in Amuro's run, where she literally stole our stats.
>>23652493Just have her help him
>>23652510Get her the fuck out of here, she's in the way
>>23652493I'm really tempted to just tell her to fuck off, but then I remembered Lila's final words and the idea of Kamille becoming the ideal newtype leader out of sheer fucking spite for Char, Reccoa and the entire AEUG sounds pretty funny.
Wouldn't pretending to be Zero the "coddle" option by pretending to be someone she cares and cared about her? By comparison option 2 seems more natural. I do not want to do the bidding of any Newtype researchers, and option 4 is just us as in you and me surrendering at the first obstacle.
>>23652619Option 4 is the best option in my opinion because trying to use an unstable teenager as a living weapon guided by another unstable teenager is literally a recipe for disaster, and I wouldn't be shocked if the purpose of sacking us with her was to make doing our job in Asia as difficult as possible. It'd be easier to conduct military operations without having to sandbag for her or worry about whether or not she'll do her job or start tweaking out. It's not giving up so much as it is adapting to the problem as opposed to ramming through a brick wall.
>>23652616>>23652619You really think Lila would approve of Kamille using mentally damaged girl as a weapon?
>>23652647I'm sure that if we send Leila back tothe Garuda, they'll realize that she's broken her conditioning again, so the butchers in the Newtype laboratories will continue to perform horrific experiments on her and send her back to us even more broken than before, just like what happened to Rosamia every time she appeared. So I'm betting we won't be able to get rid of her, so we better keep her as she is and try to improve her as much as we can.
>>23652573>>23652647I think option 4 is just bad in general if you ask me. Sending NT away just makes everyone mad, the newtype researchers, NT herself, and Jamitov. It also isolates Kamille and removes a potential ally for him in the long run. For all Scirocco's faults he knew loyal people were needed to do succeed in his goals, so he surrounded himself with followers to great success.
>>23652661Yes. Lila wanted Jerid and Kamille to work together, a man obsessed with power and a child desiring revenge. She also justified the Bunch 30 gassing when she saw the desolate colony. Telling Amuro that whatever AEUG could do would end up being much worse than that.
>>23652667All other priorities are secondary to Victory. The worst thing we can do in China is lose. NT is cybering out on us and is going to get in our way. We never promised Jamitov to baby sit his abominations. Newtype researcher can go fuck themselves, and NT is probably happy to get off the battlefield.
>>23652674She understood in the end that the AEUG were not her enemies, but unfortunately this is a Titans run and we are trying to achieve the opposite of what the AEUG wants. Also, not even Jerid himself, who was present, knows about this latest revelation, let alone Kamille.
>>23652681>All other priorities are secondary to VictoryThat's exactly why we need NT in China. Kamille and the Titans forced are outnumbered and need every edge they can get. So NT needs to be stabilised mentally so she can fight. Whether it be stripping her humanity away and making her a weapon. Telling her Kamille needs help and forming a protective connection. Or pretending to be Zero and just lying to NT.
>>23652687Lila was literally getting visions before her death of AEUG throwing humanity into darkness all in service of the last Zabi. Sure Jerid doesn't know about Amuro's ties to the Ronah family or Quattro's to Zeon, but he was there when Lila was fighting Amuro and was killed by Quattro.
>>23652702The protective connection is what we're likely going to need to keep doing anywayBut pretending to be 0 is a terrible choice that'll become a problem when he shows
>>23652702Doing any of the first 3 options will cause an increase in the sync between Kamille's Mind and NT's. Which can be a liability especially when she is under stress or goes crazy/on a rampage. Those feeling also usually end up feeding back into their caretaker(Kamille).
>>23652718Zero is dead >Kamille feels his senses being bombarded by visions of a green haired young man around his age bound and forcefully knelt before Jamitov, with the Titan's leader planting a gun against his head as NT-001 is forced to watch the execution. But you are right that it'd be a horrible idea to pretend to be him
>>23652710That last thing was the only thing Jerid saw, not the visions. Amuro opened his mind and memories to Lila (and perhaps Emma). His personal goals may not be those of the operation, and perhaps not even Blex, Wong, Haman, etc. know them.On the other hand, Lila hoped that Jerid would change so that he would help Kamille achieve contolism, stop being that narcissistic, selfish bastard.
>>23652667>Here Kamille, I have presented you with (problem) how will you solve it? After all you think Jamaican was a bad leader, prove you're better>I will do this by making OBJECTIVELY shitty strategic decisions with my personnel that will make me loseBros
>>23652719Honestly the sync was most likely planned to happen by Jamitov and the newtype lab staff. Leash a weaker cyber to a Rank S newtype and see what happens. That's not necessarily a bad thing for Kamille. And as said he needs close allies and loyal followers to achieve his desires. Personally I think Kamille can handle the sync with NT, he's such a powerful empath that he can handle her influence, and he can change her for the better with his own powers.
>>23652736the people you're talking to just want him to be syrupman 2.0
>>23652750Hey I want him to be Syrupman 2.0 and I picked 1, I'm not gonna do a stupid tactical decision that'll get me killed.
>my face when /m/ just wanted a blonde rosamia
>>23652801Even when we don't go to the lab, we will continue to make the same mistakes. Attendre et esperer.
>>23652801what are you talking about we explicitly didn't pretend to be her dead bro
>>23652816>You're such a good girl Rosamia>you just have to stop the sky from falling for me, okay?>That's right, kill those fucking spac-er, terrorists. You're doing SUCH a good job.what if you didn't eat breakfast yesterday?
>>23652801It's really more like Kamille gets his own Sarah
Why the fuck insist on babysitting? god...
>>23652826how dare we want characters to interact with each other instead of killing or kicking them away at first opportunity
>>23652493Shrugging off yet another barrage of gunfire, Kamille attempts a different approach at trying to snap NT-001 out of her mental episode.>Kamille: I can understand you being scared right now. To fight someone who fully intends to take your life...it is a scary thing. Kamille's gentle tone snaps NT-001 out of her terror induced trance, her thoughts stabilizing as he speaks. >Kamille: We can't afford to lose. Not just my life, or the life of the others fighting with us, but for...others who had their lives taken from them unfairly. If I have to keep defending you like this, I could get hurt. All of us could, and then...everyone I am trying to avenge will be never be redeemed! >NT-001: Kam...ille? >Kamille: I need you to fight with me! I need your help!! NT-001 breaks out of her self-induced mental freeze, her Gundam pushing ahead of the formation as she fires her beam rifle against the Federations Ground Gundams. >Karaba Commander: Damn, its reinforced Luna Titanium is to tough for the machine guns! Switch to rocket pods and-Following behind NT-001, Kamille's squadron overwhelms the charging Karaba unit. As the Commander is about to switch to his rocket pod, NT-001 smacks the weapon away, using the opening to utilize her Gundam's beam saber. >NT-001: You won't...hurt him!! Slashing through the Ground Gundam, NT-001 is pushed away by one of the Hizack Custom's as the Mobile Suit detonates. >Hizack Custom pilot 1: Get back into formation! The next wave is coming! >NT-001: They will not...hurt Kamille. No one will...hurt Kamille.
>>23652750>>23652786Scirocco will be proud that his friend Kamille has gotten his own follower in the form of NT. Even if she is the mentally damaged cyber kind. >>23652817Don't be disengenous. Kamille isn't pretending to be Zero or stripping away her humanity so she's a weapon. Kamille's telling her that he needs help appealing to her humanity even if it's for a selfish reason.
>>23652839Pretty goodWe'll conquer all of China with Kamille and the horde!
>>23652820Or our own Stella>NT, you have to fight, otherwise the scary things will hurt Kamille
>>23652826because >>23652811
>>23652839[20+ fatigue added to Kamille]Having managed to pull NT-001 from her terrified headspace, Kamille's squadron regroups at outpost, continuing with his original plan to draw Karaba's forces in to pick them off.>Federation Defector: It's just five machines! Just throw everything we have at them now!>Karaba Officer: Major, they took out our spearhead before we could ready the second firing line! It may be more wise to fall back and let them come to->Federation Defector: And just wait for them to mass up to destroy us?! Ready to Scarlet Iago to push ahead! We will annihilate those Gundam's to assert our power! Karaba's forces begin to mobilize their main force, with the later generation Pegasus-class mobilizing to attack the outpost housing Kamille and his allies. >Kamille: Keep picking them off as they come! The new guys they are sending are moving way more sluggishly, so we can take them from afar! >Hizack Custom pilot 3: Hehe~! All of us are going to be considered aces after today! Sucks it has to be against our own guys, but->Hizack Custom pilot 2: Any animal that would cry their eyes out for those that murdered half of mankind aren't worth being buried on the Earth. No...people like that are better in concentration camps. >Hizack Custom pilot 3: Goddamn. I knew your wife ran back to join Zeon, but->Hizack Custom pilot 2: Just be silent and keep killing them. Every single one of them. NT-001's movements grow more brash, with her constantly moving to block incoming fire directed at Kamille. >Kamille: Your putting yourself to much in their line of fire! >NT-001: You will not be hurt, Kamille. >Kamille: Your going to far in the other direction of handling yourself, Leila! Huh? What did I...just call you? >NT-001:...Leila. My name is...Leila fires a beam through the chest of two Land-type GM's, her movements improving with each shot.[NT-001 has reached D rank. +2 to leadership and Charisma. +1 to all other stats]
>>23652847>Bro its totally different even if the end goal is the same, we're just being her real pretend boyfriend instead of pretending to be her real (dead) boyfriend
>>23652865>We have an ally on our side who's loyal to us now and is helping save the day>"WE ARE MAKING THE SAME MISTAKES"What are you guys even talking about???
>>23652866oh shit nice boost.
>>23652874It's like you've never seen Zeta Gundam, or even worse, you're a newfag who hasn't been here for previous campaigns to know how trying to be Mr. Right for mulched cyber newtypes has always gone in these threadsThis is going to fuck us down the line and I'm going to laugh at you when it does.
>>23652874/m has made these choice before already. One of the big downsides to babysitting Cybers is that they stress out their caretaker in the form of fatigue.
>>23652881I voted to make her a weapon and I'm not tard raging over nothing even happening yet enearly as hard as you dude
>>23652866[Kamille has reached C Rank. +2 to Ranged, Melee and Reflex. +1 to Leadership, Charisma and Endurance] >GM II pilot: T-those Black Gundam's were just toying with us before?! Its like they can read our attacks before they even come! >Guncannon pilot: They really were hiding Newtypes in that facility! If had just kept the assault going for an hour longer, we could have saved them...! >Federation Defector: What are you people doing?! Just destroy them already! Rearming themselves for the next wave of Karaba forces, Kamille feels confident enough to start pushing ahead.>Kamille: They aren't being subtle any longer about how they want to attack. Move in to take out that Pegasus! >Hizack Custom pilot 3: Your about to make the guys waiting for our signal mad. You really up for that?>Kamille: Are you?>Hizack Custom pilot 3: Hell yeah I am! Wish it was a Zeon ship, but I can live with being a Pegasus killer! >Leila:...Hell, yeah. >Kamille: Leila, keep the surface clear! Everyone else, mount the Jabbers and press forward! We are ending this, right here and now!
>>23652826It's that or weapon. Tbh I think both choices are Kamille pragmatically trying to make the best of what he has
>>23652889>Kamille wins the battle and gets a waifu and maybe a promotion out of itBest decision we've made in a while.
>>23652874>newnigger spottedFatigue is literally the worst, most debilitating debuff you can get and we have no real way to manage it. It's also going to get worse the more often we have to do this for her. This is not our first time making these calls and it winds up wrecking our shit every time we do it.
I think people are too concerned with past events instead of just voting in character, just enjoy the run as is.
>>23652881>>23652884>>23652935Look at it this way guys; new blood! That's a good thing in the long run because it means we'll have future campaigns.
>>23652935If you've played GG before you'd know Fatigue is a total nothing burger and will disappear in no time. In past campaigns Copy has thrown around +100s like it was nothing and it often amounted to nothing beyond flavor that 20 will be gone before we're even attacking Beijing.
>>23652935I've played the game before, I know how bad Fatigue is. I'm just saying that nothing's even happened yet and there's MULTIPLE anons pearl clutching about how the run's over because we picked a pragmatic choice compared to forcing a potential ally to fuck off and leave as a literal nobody fighting a war. We have zero clout or anything and yeah Fatigue is bad, and Cyber NTs are extremely dangerous to bond with but it's not like every single run we've had a Cyber NT bond was literal satan (Aside from being possessed by the Psycho late into the run, Four in Titans Redux was perfectly fine when paired with Amuro.) I'm not saying "why are anons melting down" at the potential ramifications of a cyber NT bond because I get that part, I'm asking why you all are melting down the literal second something different happens that hasn't had the ugly side effects happen yet?
>>23652943Dualposting but I've been voting in the thread since the [BRIGHT] run and I've stuck around for the most absolutely stupid shit in both runs which is why I think having a meltdown over this on the same level as when we've made far, FAR dumber decisions that bit our asses immediately and gave us no immediate benefit is insane
>>23652948Some people seem to think that the /m/ in "/m/ plays Gihren's Greed" refers only to them, and when they don't get their way in a vote they go fucking nuclear. Did you see the relentless whining last thread too?
>every time something like this happens, we get shit on our plate>there's not even shit on your plate yet though? who knows, maybe this time, we'll get filet mignon
>>23652935Oh no 20 fatigue. Guess Kamille will need to sit at an outpost for 2 tactical turns to bring it down.>>23652940You are presuming they are arguing in good faith which they aren't.Notice how they deliberately misconstruct [Tell NT-001 that Kamille needs her help] as brainwash >>23652817 >>23652858Notice none of them mentioned their great concern over FaTiGuE before >>23652866They are concern trolling.
>>23652889As the battle to recapture China rages on Earth, the Alexandria initiates a final suicide attack against Anaheim's primary factory at Granada. Having arranged for the injured and non-combat staff of the vessel to escape for Ayer's City to await for rescue, Jerid, Kacricon and the surviving pilots from the previous battle defend the now detonation primed Alexandria for its impact with the factory. >Emma: Have they lost their minds?! >Quattro: There must have been a mutiny. Their movements are far more erratic and less predictable. >Nemo Pilot: Go for the engines! We can't let that ship get any closer! Spinning out from behind a lunar plateau, Jerid slashes a Nemo apart, ripping its beam rifle away to destroy three other AEUG Mobile Suits. >Kacricon: Jerid, where are we even supposed to go after this?! Is there even an escape plan?! >Jerid: Don't even think about running! Don't even consider any reason that we will lose! Once Anaheim is ablaze, everything we lost until now will be avenged!! >Emma: Titan pilots, are these the orders of Bask Om? If so, he has no intention of helping you! You are being sent to your->Jerid: Emma! You damn dirty traitor!! >Emma: Jerid? Listen to me! The Titans are not working for the Federation! Bask and his men are only using them to further their own goals->Jerid: To the hell with Bask! To hell with the rest of the idiots leading the Titans! I am going to destroy Anaheim, kill the ones who murdered Lila, and take everything for myself!! >Emma: You...you've gone mad->Jerid: Before that though-Jutting around Emma's attempts to fire on his Marasai, Jerid closes the distance as he slams his beam saber against her Mark II's.>Jerid: I'll crush you!!!
>>23652871sorry but you're not allowed to criticize or shitpost about the result of (My) vote.
>>23652955I'm pretty sure it's the anon who regularly crashes out over literally nothing since even in the gray aeug and [BRIGHT] runs there is an anon who crashes and burns at the smallest decisions and then whenever someone wonders what the fuck he's even so upset for he immediately assumes that person voted for the thing he doesn't like and went "I'LL LAUGH AT YOU WHEN THIS BAD THING HAPPENS!" and then shuts up as soon as someone says "no i didn't wtf"it's just a shame that some anons like that want to ruin the fun of the run because they hate everyone else deciding on a vote they don't like
>>23652889I like this. Kamille learns from Lila how to control his emotions and be stronger for it. Later on he meets another newtype in a similar situation he was in and he helps her to control her emotions, and her name just so happens to be Leila. Sasuga Copy. And Jamitov is gonna be happy when he sees that Kamille's first engagement was a success with no casualties under his command.
>>23652955I was >>23652858 and I just thought it was a funny parallel, the situation is sorta similar with us being the Neo to Leila's StellaI voted to encourage her to be a killer but I don't mind getting outvoted
>>23652959Godspeed Jerid, you crazy bastard. Godspeed.
>>23652955I didn't say it was brainwashing, I said it was like gaslighting someone into going along with being a tool for you. Why are you being so disingenuous and defensive nigger? It's fine if you disagree with me, but don't be a seething fag about it.
>>23652948It was incredibly risky. If four died it had a high chance to kill Amuro.
>>23652959II hope this Jerid becomes more hydrated than a Diabetic man running to a water fountain after running a mile
>>23652959>Having arranged for the injured and non-combat staff of the vessel to escape for Ayer's City to await for rescueI think if Jerid survives this he's going to end up with the New Desides Titans group. >>23652969I genuinely hope Jerid lives on after this. I need him and Kamille to meet again after they've both matured and become leaders of men.
>>23652961This is the real reason for the argument btw: it happened last thread too, which the same whiny retards are crying about in this thread nowyou're simply not allowed to disagree with the poll results either seriously or jokingly. If you notice, one in particular is using the ye olde I AM SILLY ad hominem because he doesn't really have a better argument at hand
>>23652966I voted in favor of turning her into a weapon and lemme tell ya, my jammies are RUSTLEDI'm DDOSing strawpoll as we speak, that will teach 'em
>>23652963>"YOU'RE JUST MAD," Anon seethed>>23652959I believe in you Jerid!!
>>23652976Yeah it was super risky but it's actual proof that a cyber NT bond isn't an immediate doomed cause which is why I brought it up.
>>23652982We should have just had sex with her and made her go kamikaze the enemy.
>>23652991all of the anons arguing about the issue this time have somewhat different perspectives but the root criticism is that it USUALLY does end badly though and therefore presents an incredible riskif you play russian roulette and don't blow your brains you, you still almost shot yourselfpersonally i did vote for this because i like autistic pussy but i think crying because other anons are criticizing the vote is ridiculous (not saying its you btw but just speaking generally)
>>23652959Go Jerid Go!!!>>23652991It's not instant doom but it adds an additional layer to each decision. We basically tried our best to never separate them since four and her poor endurance are fragile.
>>23652997I think it's fine to criticize to be clear but there's a difference between constructive and "YOU NEWFAG I BET YOU NEVER WATCHED ZETA OR PLAYED THE SHOW!!!" when I asked what everyone was so mad about when the discussion was going south quickly. Shit I don't trust Cyber NT bonds and I picked weapon solely because I wanted an evil kamille tem ray esque run and I still found the reactions really bizarre
>>23652974You are the disingenuous one who twisted the normal [Tell NT-001 that Kamille needs her help] into something nefarious. No part of that option could sustain your bullshit assertion that Kamille is going to gaslight Leila Gates style, yet you couldn't stop lying even after Copy clearly shown the option meant normal conversations. You aren't here to play GG. You are here to screw with people.
>>23653000the funny thing is that I'm pretty sure gal here is a weak NT to begin with, I dunnno why people are comparing her to say the Four or that one NT OC
>>23652959>Don't worry, Jerid. I bet that Hyaku Shiki and his Mega Bazooka are nothing compared to the Marasai.>PUT IT ALL ON EMMA

>>23652959>Quattro: Lieutenant Emma, get away from that machine! >Kacricon: Golden bastard! Your fight is with me now!>Quattro: Worthless peon, get out of here! Quattro fires two shots at Kacricon's Marasai, with both shots damaging, yet not destroying its impacted arm and leg. >Kacricon: Jerid, the golden one is open! Take it down!! Seeing the opening Kacricon had spoken of, Jerid avoids a barrage from the Mark II's vulcans as he kicks her damaged Mark II away, boosting directly for the Hyaku Shiki. >Jerid: I hear you, Lila! I am putting it all on this! One blow to finally end this!! To prove myself worthy as the man who would have claimed you!!>Quattro: Hot blooded fool! Targetting Jerid's cockpit, Quattro fires two shots at the same position. Raising his Marasai's arm to block the first shot, Jerid staggers the first impact, with the second blasting apart its arm and part of the frontal armor on the Marasai's chest. Emerging from a haze of burning metal and smoke, the Marasai's horn prepares to ram through the Hyaku Shiki's cockpit.>Quattro: N-no! Just as the horn is about to make impact, a beam from the lunar surface rips through the Marasai's head, blasting it off as it crashes the Hyaku Shiki and itself into the surface of the Factory. >Karate Sub-Captain: Captain Mezun, I got it! It took its head clean off! Deprived of his absolute victory, Jerid degenerates into a feral fit. Just as Quattro slashes its waist away, the wreckage of Jerid's Marasai extends its hand for the Petite Mobile Suit that fire on it, taking hold of the student and crushing him alive. Multiple beam's rain down from above, ripping Jerid's Marasai apart as only its battered torso remains intact. >Quattro: (Was he one of the the Titan's Artificially developed Newtypes? >>23653018We just have to play our cards right and get out of the labs if we’re in them and avoid them if they’re an option. Kamille is a powerful newtype and jamitov is a fucking psycho with retard drug addicts torturing kids to fuel his obsession with psychic teens who pilot robots good, he’s gonna try and make the lemon that is kamille into lemonade, any titans run with kamille thats remotely in character is gonna involve cybers, bonding, and the pitfalls of kamille wanting to be captain saveaho in space.I like how this is going, this is my first time voting in a thread and it’s fun so far
>>23653026>Kacricon: Jerid, get out of the suit! We can still get out of here! The ravaged Alexandria crashes into the center of Amman, bursting into its interior and exploding near its primary assembly line. Entranced by the destruction, AEUG forces are caught off guard by Kacricon's desperate maneuver to recover Jerid. >Kacricon: Hope that sucker punch was worth it. Only we made it out of there->Jerid: It was right there! I had that gold one dead to rights! Go back! I can still->Kacricon: How many times you going to roll the dice until you come up with Snake Eyes?! Man, if even one of those guys who got sent off on the Lifeboat's squeal about what happened to Jamaican, we are both screwed. Just a bridge we will have to cross once we-Detecting an imminent failure of the arm holding Jerid, Kacricon quickly switches arms as a mechanical malfunction causes the damaged hand to burst open. As the two Titan's share a moment of silence from the near catastrophe, Kacricon bursts into a manic howl of laughter.>Kacricon: After all of that back there, the Reapers last attempt is what finally got you! You look scared shitless!>Jerid: Of course I do! Even a second later and i'd of been blown apart! >Kacricon: Since i've saved your ass so many times, how about giving me a couple months salary? First thing when we get to Ayers, I am putting a transfer back to Earth. Before that though, i'm living like a King for a night in space! >Jerid:...Hahaha! You already scout out a place?>Kacricon: I got a few ideas. Well...to the hell with the AEUG. Let em burn.>Jerid: Yeah. To the hell with the AEUG-
>>23653056Well Jamitov's obsession has taken a good turn with Kamille. Instead of sending him to the labs to be dissected he instead gave him command of a small force and even his own cyber newtype to help Kamille. So I don't think Kamille will need to worry about having the squeeze out on him. There definitely will be testing as we've seen when Kamille was in India, but nothing too invasive. Just psycommu readings and data collection. The Titans won't want to take one of their best pilots and up and coming leaders out of the action.
>>23653067>nothing too invasive>Just as Kamille got milked while he as unconsciousJustice for my boy
>>23653066Holy shit, Jerid actually did itAbsolute madman
>>23653069>nuked Anaheim to shit like they deserved and livedBoar Jerid living up to the hype.
holy shit chad jerid
>>23653066Jerid awakens beneath a pile of lunar rocks, his body pinned from their weight. Gasping desperately for the air that had been torn out from his lung, Jerid turns his head to find Kacricon's Marasai flailing and being cut apart by a different variant of the golden Mobile Suit, this one with wing binders on its back. Kacricon's open comms beat against Jerid's ear, with his mortified screams being the only sound entering Jerid's still dazed mind. >Kacricon: No, god! Not like this! The new golden machine rips away the Marasai's cockpit hatch, reaching inside to drag Kacricon into space. >Kacricon: I-I surrender! You have to honor that-Kacricon's voice dies in his throat as he is brought to the front of the golden Mobile Suits head, its eyes flashing a red glare at him. Feeling his body being constricted harder by its hands, Kacricon screams out for his lover, his dignity and composure vanishing as both of the Mobile Suits hands twist his body into an unidentifiable, fleshy paste dripping out from his normal suit. >Mezun: Eye for an eye, you Titan bastards. [Kacricon has died]Still unsatisfied, Mezun searches for Jerid's body amongst the disrupted Lunar surface. Just as Mezun is about to discover his body, the Gundam Mark II and Hyaku Shiki arrives to end his rampage. [25% of all units in Granada have been destroyed. -5000 money and resources from AEUG][Jerid is now MIA]
>>23653087RIP Kacricon, /m/ezun will be a fucking menace in this runAt least Jerid survived...
>>23653087Mezun's going to pull a Jerid and endanger, injure or kill non-titan EF officers/officials.
>>23653087Delta Gundam?
>>23653087>>23653035 (me)The AEUG now has a Hyaku Shiki Kai? Fuck my shitAlso, Did this really happen in-game? Answer me, Copy.
>>23653087We spoke too soon and jinxed Jerid. Oh well, at least he killed a lot of AEUG this time before losing a friend or love interest like usual.
>>23653087Now I'm wondering just what would've happened if we stuck with Jerid. The Alexandria would've been kicking ass and the bomb plan would've most likely worked, but Jamaican would most likely still be alive and things on Earth wouldn't be looking so good either.
>>23653097Considering how it mentions red eyes I'm inclined to believe it's a delta gundam
>>23653101Everything's always a trade off. If anything, I imagine a way more pissed off Mezun if Kamille were present.
Those unhappy with our choice to make NT001 protect us instead of a mindless weapon, consider the following>she's undoing the NT labs mental conditioning on her first sortie>this will annoy the NT labs and make them look like fools>fuck the NT labs
>>23653207Cannot argue with this
>>23653207>This will fuck us later
>>23653341Hey, don't know if you've figured it out but EVERY CHOICE FUCKS US LATER. There is no perfect choice that just works and doesn't wind up fucking us in some way, that's the nature of the game.
>>23653341Why should kamille be happy or have it easy anywayNot much of a fun story if it’s just perfectly optimizable
>>23653087As the flickers of battle are snuffed out on the surface of the Moon, the battle to push back Karaba's primary defector army continues in the outskirts of China. >Karaba Officer: The Titans are moving everything in now! We can't hold out against those kinds of numbers!>Federation Defector: Were they taunting us this entire time?! Almost half of our forces were destroyed by that little detachment...! Scarlet Iago, fall back! We can't hold this area any longer! Cover our retreat by any means necessary!Detecting the Titans approach from their rears, Kamille's squadron remains focused on their objective of destroying the repurposed Pegasus-class, only for the Titans main force to push ahead of them in a senseless blitz.>Kamille: What are you all doing?! Karaba is bunkered that far in! >Titan pilot: Shut it! We saw you trying to hog all the credit, so you can just piss off now! Smash these traitors to pieces! Flying directly into Karaba's secondary defense line, the Titan's main force suffers heavy losses. Still moving forward with attacking, Kamille and the Hizack Custom's flying behind his Mark II try to intercept the Pegasus-class, just to find their allies losses to be far to appalling to ignore.
>>23653097>Also, Did this really happen in-game? Answer me, Copy.Out of gameplay event, but the listed effects of said event have taken place. 25% of the total number of units in Granada were deleted from the base and all listed pilot losses have been removed from the Titans roster.
>>23653525Snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. Hopefully our team's contributions won't be buried under these fools.
>>23653525>Do everything right>Still fail because the other teams are fucking retarded
>>23653525To mitigate any further substantial losses, Kamille's squadron shifts its focus onto destroying many of the artillery forces barring down on the Titan's primary forces. Still fighting on the ground, Leila's method of fighting is thrown off by the new formation of Titan forces attempting to finish off Mobile Suits shot down by her. Anxious from not being at Kamille's side to shield him, Leila's Gundam starts to aggressively force the other Titan's out of her path to make a route for her handler. >Zaku Cannon pilot: Get a clue, Gundam pilot! You are in the way of our guns! >Leila: Stu...pid. >Zaku Cannon pilot: Hah?! What was that, you brat?! Unable to pursue the Scarlet Iago, Kamille's squad are forced to maintain an awkward position to cut down on any further losses from the Titan's attack.
>>23653554Karaba's resolve is broken, with their surviving forces scattering back to the Scarlet Iago to begin their retreat from the doomed battle. Despite having the remaining Karaba forces substantially outnumbered, the newly arrived Titan force finds themselves depleted of their Base Jabber's due to their brazen charge. Even Kamille's squadron are begrudgingly forced to cease to engagement due to having to reinforce their allies. While the battle was certainly a victory for the Titans, it had gone from a flawless victory to a moderately costly one. Making landing at the captured fortress that had been utilized by Karaba's forces, Kamille is reprimanded by the Titan Commander in charge of the region.>Titan Commander: I made it clear you were only supposed to draw the ship out, not engage it! Why did you go against my orders? >Kamille: Their forces were getting cocky and thought they could overrun us! If you people hadn't have jumped in to try and soak up credit, we could have drawn them into a position where there would be no escape! >Titan Commander: Changing the strategy isn't for you to decide, boy. >Kamille: And letting your men rush in to get gunned down is a perfectly sound strategy?>Titan Commander: It is an expectation of war that there will be casualties. Supreme Commander Hymen may have personally assigned you here, but you are still subject to the same discipline as any other soldier. >Kamille: Don't touch me-As the Commander tries to grab Kamille by the exposed opening of his helmet, Leila rushes forward to strike the aged Commanders wrist. >Titan Commander: You just struck me! Do you realize the ramifications of->Newtype Researcher: The specialized combat division are exempted from your discipline! If you want to dispute it, I am sure Jamitov would be real open to being interrupted to clear it.The Commander rubs wrist, irked at the politics holdings him back from retaliation.
>>23653587>Newtype Researcher: Don't mind him all that much. The soldiers around here are just so anxious for a fight these days, they forget how these battles are really fought now. We detected some abnormal mental activity from NT-001, but it looks like you mostly got it under control. She must be overly sensitive to your mental connection though, jumping in to hit that guy. At least you got her back on track during that engagement out there-The Researcher's look grows critical as he notices Leila protectively standing in front of Kamille, her eyes flashing hostility at anyone around the young Newtype.>Newtype Researcher:...Are you telling her to do that? Like, are you thinking it right now?>Kamille: Leila, the battle is done->Newtype Researcher: Hey, no-no. Don't use names. That messes with the conditioning->Kamille: Conditioning? She was losing her mind out there until I explained we were in danger because of it! I am not going to treat her like some kind of machine when she is obviously a person!A tiny smirk creeps across Leila's mouth, before shifting back into her usual, empty expression. >Newtype Researcher:...Can you tell me exactly what you told NT-001 to calm her down?>Kamille: As I said, just that I needed her help and that it was necessary for us to win out there. She got back on track almost immediately after that.>Newtype Researcher: See, that is the issue we have here. She's, uh...going to be overly clingy to you. It's fine though, we can do a correction back at the labs->Kamille: You mean shoving her back into that awful machine? To the hell with that. >Newtype Researcher: I know it seems cruel, but it is the kindest thing we can do for her state of mind. Zeon trained her to do some...horrible things->Leila: I can demonstrate those "horrible things" on you should the need arise, Doctor.Kamille lets out a small chuckle, before being gently lead away by Leila.>Kamille: Hey now->Leila: Enemy rations were secured. New priority.
>>23653613>>Leila: Enemy rations were secured. New priorityThe nuggies are back!
>>23653619Kamille will seize his destiny and the nuggies with his own hands
>>23653613Cracking jokes? Hell, maybe a little fatigue was worth it.The problem is we are going to be very short on opportunities for Kamille to rest and recover from fatigue when seemingly every single other Titan is a blithering imbecile besides Scirocco and possibly Jamitov. We do everything right and they still take terrible losses out of nowhere.
>>23653625>everything rightKamille squad wasn't supposed to charge head-on, he's a loose cannon.
>>23653655He's not a loose cannon everyone else is just retarded.
>>23653619>>23653622I am concerned she will start acting on some Kamilles invasive thoughts if she is mind reading him. Like killing someone he does not like or trying to be a mommy to him. That extra stat boost gave her a little personality back but I hope she is not a total Zeon wack job as she gets more of it.
>>23653554>getting called stupid by a kidOuch>getting called stupid by a kid who has had most of her brain left on the NT lab floorEject! Eject!
>>23653587Kamille just got his free pass to not getting smacked, he is unstoppable.
>>23653679I choose to believe she will only act on his food related thoughts, the nuggies will flow.
>>23653655Kamille's squad only charged in to prevent the titans glory hounds getting completely rinsed, his prior strategy was coolheaded and worked just fine.
>>23653689>>23653694>>23653663Retarded as they might be, he's fighting for the titans, for a team. One single unit breaking formation/acting out on his own can end up compromising everyone, which he did by riling them up, jealous of his squad killing streak. The rest of the titans were waiting for a signal, remember?Kamille is now being coddled by the NT research guys, he has a little sister-orbiter-gf and on top of that he's getting all the nuggies he wants. That cheeky brat is outta control.
>>23653869I'll admit I misread it and thought Kamille's squad was still picking them apart from a distance instead of heading to the approaching Pegasus, but the titans that charged in without a signal, causing the Pegasus to retreat to their defences and luring the titans in to get mulched are not only insubordinate but tactically unsound. If they weren't dead I'd have them expelled.
>>23653869It's fitting enough that Kamille doesn't know how to lead an operation yet. He has been artificially raised up the ranks without any training on how to lead or command anyone. For now, demonstrating our personal competency and getting a tactical victory over Karaba is a respectable start - Kamille should learn from what went wrong here, hopefully, or else we are gonna suffer horrible attrition all the way to Hong Kong.
>>23653869>>23653923The doctrine of these Titan Commanders is abysmal, turning every battle into a bloodbath. Kamille is incredibly competent, not hot-headed or entitled, as some say; otherwise, he would not have given up on taking out that Pegasus-class to help the other units and without any casualties.
>>23653949>The doctrine of these Titan Commanders is abysmalCorrectAnd Kamille is already far above "abysmal"That doesn't mean he played this perfectly. Nor should he be expected to.Since Kamille currently lacks proper recognition as a super-ace, if he charges in, others are going to want a slice of the glory. This is a horrible constraint to have to work around, because throwing Kamille into enemy ranks and letting him go hog wild is clearly how we get the best out of him, but it's something we are aware of at least.
When Kamille and the Titans forces get to attacking AEUG again there's definitely going to be a vote on how to handle the commander. If the assault on Beijing goes anything like this one it'll be a blood bath as the Titan forces rush for glory and AEUG blasts them to hell. If the opportunity presents itself we should subvert the Titans Commander or get him out of the way. Otherwise defeat might be snatched from the jaws of victory. There might be some bonus as well depending on Kamille's actions. It was said that they were making new models in Beijing so there might be something or someone important there.
Hey Gihren's Greed thread. Can one of you point me to a Youtube playthrough that's ideal for figuring out how this game works?

>>23654121>>23654124 (me)There is a version without commentary if you can't stand vtumors
>>23654126Vtubers are cute, however, vtrannies are not. Danke though
>>23654126NTA but sure, vtubers are not my thing.Speaking of GG campaings, this is my first time tuning in, i love zeta so i checked the thread regularly since the pre-run (recolors, custom pilots and all), really liking this chose your own adventure fan-fiction stuff, OP really knows how to make an otherwise dry and to the point grand strategy game quite thrilling to say the least. In the meantime i'm also reading the Bright redux campaign, i'll check the titans amuro after that since it's brought up so frequently. Any other runs you guys recommend checking out?
>>23654185Zero's Revil run and the Haman Axis run are both wonderful and genuinely hopeful, especially the Revil run.
>>23654216I second this. Zero's Revil was a good time.
>>23653613>Titan Commander: Once supplies arrive from Kilimanjaro base, we will launch a three phase attack against Beijing. Once its factories have been secured, Hong Kong City is to be taken immediately. The Pegasus-class is to destroyed, regardless of what condition we secure it in. Better to burn their flag than to let them believe they can take it back.>Titan Officer 1: Sir, there is a representative from the Senate Security forces here to see you.>Titan Commander: Senate Security? Are the Federation also trying to get involved? Alright, take a brief intermission! I will be back shortly, so don't wander off to far. Where is the Gundam's pilot? Both of them?>Titan Officer 2: They never showed up to the briefing. Some kind of exemption from Command.>Titan Commander: Of goddamn course there is...On the outskirts of the captured fortress, Kamille wanders the perimeter with Leila remaining by his side.>Kamille:...Do you remember anything about being in Zeon? >Leila:...No. My duty is to...serve in the research and development of future Newtypes. >Kamille: Are you going to be alright still fighting out there? I meant what I said, about needing your help, but...that means we are going to have to kill to survive. If that is to much for you to handle, then->Hizack Custom pilot 3: Lieutenant! The operation was cancelled! >Kamille:...What? What the hell do you mean it was "cancelled"?! >Hizack Custom pilot 3: The Federation all calling for a blockade to be formed around China, but all further hostilities are to be ceased until further notice!
>>23654262>The Federation all calling for a blockade to be formed around China, but all further hostilities are to be ceased until further notice!Damn it you stupid bastards.
>>23654262Bursting into the Commanding Officer of the Titan's forces of the Asian territories, Kamille wastes no time in airing his frustrations at the attack against Karaba's forces being completely halted.>Kamille: We are just supposed to sit back and wait for those people to rearm?! >Titan Commander: Get out of my office->Kamille: No way! I don't know how or why we are being told to sit here and wait->Titan Commander: Because the Senate has decided to firmly plant itself on a fence, and they have no intentions of getting off that fence until everything has fallen apart. Problem is the Spacenoid worshiping snakes that slithered their way into the Senate are going to-Recalling Kamille's status as a Colony citizen, the Commander quiets down as he takes a swig of water.>Titan Commander: Don't even think of trying to break these orders. >Kamille: Is this how it always is? One step forward, then we just have to abandon whatever leads we get at the behest of the Senate? This is->Titan Commander: I don't disagree, but I am not about to risk over fifteen thousand men being deprived of their pay just to contest the Senate in their games.>Kamille: All of you people are nothing but->Newtype Researcher: Our apologies on behalf of the Lieutenant. Kamille->Kamille: Your apologizing on my behalf? I am not apologizing for speaking some truth around here! >Newtype Researcher: Command is satisfied with your results. The Director wants to log your current brainwaves, along with NT-001's data. >Kamille: That isn't what I agreed to! Jamitov said I could prove myself down here, and I am not going to get thrown off by whatever research you people are doing!>Newtype Researcher: You can't fathom how vital your data is to the Titans. If you want favor with the Supreme Commander, just trust us and return. One way or another, you'll get your chance to fight soon enough.>What will Kamille decide on regarding his orders?https://strawpoll.com/eNg6vMzK4gA
>>23654185The first glemy run is hilarious looking back on it. At the time it made me want to murder my fellow /m/en, but things devolve in such a strange way that I can't hate it. Second glemy run sucks
>>23654323I'm thinking comply to orders and return to India. Especially if we wanna make Jamitov happy and increase the Titans technology and get new psycommu Mobile Suits. If none of you guys wanna do that continuing to fight in Russia or Indochina are the only good options. Stealing a HLV and going to space is way to risky.
>>23654323So, uh, do you guys want to pick up Jerid? Side 3 needs a purging. Then again, if we don't stay on Earth, we might have problems if Leila doesn't have her medical staff on hand.
>>23654323>https://strawpoll.com/eNg6vMzK4gAI'm inclined to go to space or counterattack at russia just to do something here.Committing a war Crime in Indochina is tempting though, but it can fuck us a bit, in alignment specially.>>23654338Yeah, that's why I'm inclined to return to space too
>>23654323Going into another theater sounds good. The indochina interception sounds like it could have more impact than joining the counterattack in Russia. Though i'm not sure what is being fought over in Russia.
>>23654323I don't want to go down the Newtype research route. Nor do I want Kamille to go back to space just yet, not to mention using a stolen HLV. I guess Russia is better if we want to swing back into Beijing in due course, but Indochina is better if we want to keep close to Hong Kong and possibly pay a visit to Murasame in Japan.I'm leaning towards Indochina > Russia.
>>23654323I voted to comply this time. I don't want to give the NT Labs any help, but we don't actually have any other realistic option that benefits us. We strike anywhere, breaking the ceasefire and allowing ourselves to be made the scapegoat for everyone.
India. I see no reason to have three people traipse off and try to solo Karaba. While they're working to get stronger, we should do the same.
>>23654362>>23654365If Kamille goes to India and follows orders I hope that Leila will get a new mobile suit. Poor girl's using a Titans Gundam, she needs something than can fly like a Gaplant or Asshimar.
>>23654323The Newtype labs are dens of vipers and perverts, but I think complying and giving them combat data is the play here. Right now, we're only one squad of mobile suits and are stuck relying on the AI to make progress whether we like it or not.We need to gain power and influence in the Titans so we can start making more strategic level decisions that mitigate the AI's stupidity and getting on Jamitov's good side is the fastest to get that influence.Besides, the Gundam mk-ii is a fine machine but it gets outmoded rather quickly, especially if the AEUG starts pumping out Hyaku Shiki kais and Zetas. Unless Scirocco comes in and hands us one of his suits on a silver platter, the newtype lab mobile suits are the next best thing.
>>23654369Yeah, I hope they manage to reward us for the breakthroughs in some way, NT Research levels and such.
>>23654386Since Kamille and Leila are definitely the most promising newtypes in the Titans anything in the works might be sent directly to them. Like Rosamia's Gaplant, or they'll send Rosamia and her Gaplant to be put under Kamille's command.
>>23654323Ultimately I feel that Kamille has not been given the equivalent of FAITH here. He doesn't have the right to follow or choose his battlefield. I think if we have something to request of Jamitov that should be it. I feel like if we just cause problems then we'll just cause more frustration in the future.
>>23654323Pretty easy comply. Don't want Jamitov and the rest to start thinking Kamille can't be controlled
>>23654323It's been a while since I've watched 0079. Since Jamitov wants Kamille to be the second coming of Amuro, did White Base ever disobey orders to strike at Zeon on its own and achieve unexpected victory? Having Kamille obtain a decisive win here might further his reputation as the Second White Devil.
>>23654474>id White Base ever disobey orders to strike at Zeon on its own and achieve unexpected victory? No, whenever Amuro of White Base did shit on their own bad stuff happened. Like when Amuro ran off and the White Base got attacked by Ramba Ral.The White Base got famous from being ordered to fight against overwhelming odds and coming out the other side alive.
>>23654474Odessa I think? Amuro uncovered Zeon spy in the chain of command. I think in an organization like the Titan favors results over just following along.
>>23654474The White Base never fought a civil war in 0079 with periodic truces and under a rigid chain of command. I would wait until the Federation is absorbed so that we can operate more freely.
>>23654500Will the Fed be absorbed? The Titans are getting their asses kicked badly in space and the senate is interfering on earth.
>>23654500>>23654522It kinda seems inevitable at this point. AEUG is acting extremely aggressive capturing territory, and their key members are clearly evidently zeonic aligned. Like with when they invaded Side 3.Also literally everyone of the Titan higher ups seems to know that total war is inevitable. Scirocco mentioned that soon AEUG would expose themselves to retribution, Jamitov told Kamille he'd get the chance to prove himself to assert himself, and the researcher mentioned that Kamille would get to fight again soon. So it's best to play along with the researchers and commanders for now and wait until this civil war becomes much hotter.
>>23654522The closer these bigwigs feel the danger, the more they will believe that the AEUG is actually the heir to Zeon and that Spacenoids are coming for their heads. Jamitov just has to ask for unlimited power.
>>23654474I get the feeling that if Kamille disobeys orders too much he'll risk actually turning into fucking Katz.
What happened to Amuro? Last we saw he got offered a child bride and then vanished. Jerid would have died had he still been with the Argama.
if we pick nt labs again the arguments are going to be so fucking funny bros i voted for it JUST for that reason
>>23654754Thing is... I think people are wanting to be Rational Kamille. That means following orders and doing what we're told, Jerid has become the wild emotional one of the pairing now. Also if we get with the NT labs, when Jerid finally gets sent to us, we can hyper-charge him as his friend.
>>23654792>The return of Hydration Man Jerid>But with a BOAR mindsetI want this so goddamn much holy shit
>>23654323Voting for Indochina.
>>23654792Jerid is gonna be fucking pissed that he got put out a shit assignment and everybody but him died but Kamille got promoted 2 ranks while barely doing anything lol
>>23654323I think Kamille needs a showing that he's not completely incapable of following orders, backing down to recover that fatigue for a turn or two and get this seemingly reasonable nameless titans commander onside at the same time would be perfect. HOWEVER>FUCK the NT labs. Get your Hizacks ushankason boys we going to Russia!
NT labs are gonna win because the vote is split between Indochina and Russia.
>>23654591My guess is he went off, made a newtype connection with someone then found out they'd also banged Char. It's a holding pattern for him.
>>23655144
I am literally just here for whatever fucked up Young and the Restless Axis Newtype telenovela subplot is being cooked up.
>>23655203>Amuro: hey I just met the nicest lady>Char: I came here.>Amuro: to laugh at me?>Amuro: you came here to laugh at me, right?>Char: ... I came here.
>>23655262It writes itself.
>>23652866Out of curiosity, is NT001 piloting a titans colour grandpa, a prototype MK2 like Zero's or something else?
>>23655372It looks like a G-Titans.
>>23655372I assumed it's a Titan's colored RX-78. Unless Copy-X states otherwise idk why some people >>23655432 would leap to other conclusion
>>23655472>Titan's colored RX-78that's g-titan or gundam titan variant it is a stock unit
>>23655518>>23655518>that's g-titan or gundam titan variant it is a stock unitlol. lmao. ok buster
>>23655472G-Titans is from Gather Beat, the game she's from and was one of Zero's units. its a modified RX-78 in Titans colors.
>>23654323I just realized something but the newtype labs and Jamitov probably want to record how Kamille's brain changes as his newtype abilities develop. See how the brain changes and receives data from the environment as extrasensory abilities develop. Even with one battle on earth under his belt Kamille's already formed a telepathic bond with Leila. So the lab in India already has a lot of new data to record and work with.
>>23655792and they will use that data to create an abomination that will probably want to kill us by the end of this playthrough.
>>23655850Just don't act like fucking Franklin and things will be ok.
>>23655850Maybe. Or it could go towards making more stable cyber newtypes. If the labs understand all the ins and outs of a newtypes during stress and rest. Feasibly they'd have a much easier time of replicating it in their imitations. Instead of just trying to brute force that peak combat state newtypes enter when in battle.
>>23655855We're gonna need to be careful with romance and the newtype connections that form then. Kamille can't mentally connect with every cyber newtype the Titans throw at him. Maybe one more but that's it.
>>23655883Kamille has his Sarah-like, one more can fulfill the role of Sydle and we can call it there for loyal subordinates
>>23655891Rosamia or Four would be good for the Sydle/Reccoa position. Rosamia seeing Kamille as her little brother would fit in nicely with how Leila believes she needs to protest Kamille at all costs. After that Kamille needs a Yazan stand in, someone who just likes fighting and killing.
>>23655855>>23655863The newtype labs are run by assholes who always undermine our attempts to make the labs more than a slaughterhouse. They will run with their research to anyone will let them play frankenstein.>>23655883>>23655891>>23655899Rosamia would round out Leila well.
>we picked the nt labs
>>23655981Things are about to get ebin
>>23655981Yup, I predicted this.Well let's hope things go smoothly for once.
>>23655981Why are you surprised? The average /m/an loves waifus, psycho gundams and contolism, of course they'd go for the labs that will give them all three.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aCV0pHjtxes>this vote
We need to advance the cyber tech as much as possible to rebuild Jerid into our raging vengeful knightHe WILL get hydrated again, Kamiyu wills it
>>23654323I'm not saying this is botted immediately but I am a little bit concerned that the vote count jumped up by about 20 or so more than the usual vote count these threads get, let alone for a vote that's quite literally "return to the NT labs?" that was super contentious. I'm not saying I don't doubt there's lurkers or anything, but it feels a bit weird since our actual last vote and a lot of the votes prior were 30, I dunno. Hope my intuition and worries from the last few runs are wrong, at least.
>>23655981
>>23656015It was a 24 hour vote and the runs had enough time for people to come to it. It's not unreasonble for the vote count to jump a bit. But I see your point.
>>23655993>>23655994you know what, fair enough. i'll forgive you all if we get to fuck deux and she hits quattro or amuro with a stone cold stunner in the psycho mk3.>>23656002>back to the kwab again
>>23656033Mind I don't mind which option wins, but I prefer good old authentic autis/m/ over some guy sabotaging things by botting, but you're right and that does reassure me a little.
>>23656015>>23656033I don't think we were actually botted, but it is possible to be a vpnigger and double dip. I don't think that would count for more than at most 10 votes though which still would've had the labs winning by a slim margin./m/ just is too in love with autistic pussy and the idea of Jerid the WATERLORDTHE QUENCHED VIRTUOSOTHE SPACESLAV WHIPPER 9000
>>23655981Don't look at me. I wanted to go with Jerid back then but now complying with orders is the best choice
>>23656048I'd say the issue was there were two interchangeable go fight more on earth options aside from NT labs and go completely rogue in space, it split up those who wanted the middle ground option .
>>23656095Nah, it's 33 to 23 ones against. This is a clear majority.
>>23656095Even if we said 10 votes were vpn'd and combined the votes of the two land options, the vote would still come to 23/23. That said, if the next strawpoll that isn't up for a day and also has a contentious choice also has a large excess of votes I'm calling bullshit.
Lots of people voting on this one, from an average of 30 votes to 56 in total, guess /m/ really wants to go BACK TO THE LAB AGAIN (uh-oh)
>>23656139Quattro is gonna shit bricks when he realizes that Amuro tier newtype he was fighting is now actively aiding and abetting the Titans Newtype Program
Fuck I forgot to even vote and we got 56 fucking votes
>>23654323Even with the desire for eradicating Karaba's forces still coursing through Kamille's thoughts, he forces his emotions back under control as he considers the larger picture of Jamitov's intentions for him. While flashes of the green haired pilot's execution and the dehumanizing actions taken against Leila course through his thoughts, Kamille remembers Scirocco's words regarding the price of being able to control the course of his revenge. Leaving the blockade of China to the Titan's forces still in the region, Kamille and his sqaudron depart for India to unload their combat data. Meanwhile on the surface of the Moon, Jerid is recovered by one of the Crewmen of the Alexandria who had departed with the others not fit for combat. >Ayers City Soldier: Mayor Pinefield, we confirmed a survivor! The one who lead the attack on that Anaheim factory!>Kaiser: Waste no time! Get him inside immediately! As Jerid is brought to the safety of Ayer's City, the crew of the Alexandria gather to face the man who had finally dealt a tangible blow to the AEUG's movement. >Titan Officer 1:...The cowardly Jamaican Daninghan attempted to escape from the active engagement and was killed in the crossfire!>Titan Officer 2: Anyone who would disagree with that fact has been taken care of, Lieutenant Jerid.Jerid inhales the freshly produced oxygen within the metal dome at the heart of Ayers City, his oxygen deprived mind slowly recovering as he is saluted by the remaining survivors.>Titan Officer 3: Mayor Pinefield has agreed to smuggle us back into allied territory...however, Commander Kinsey is in no condition to leave immediately due to his injuries.>Kaiser: Your Commander will be given our upmost priority with his recovery, even if I have to drain my own finances to do so. As for the men who sacrificed themselves, we will host a private funeral->Jerid: Hahaha...! >Kaiser: Lieutenant?>Jerid: AEUG is bleeding. Time for us to go in for the kill. [END OF EPISODE 7]
Oh good, Jerid has lost it.
>>23656421TOTAL AEUG DEATH
>>23656421This is what zero W's does to a mf.
I kind of want Kamille to end up in the Mark III instead of the Zeta, bros...
>>23656457Zeta is just a better machine by far in this game.
>>23656449Jerid turned into Hydro Jerid just because he got mad that Rosamia was piloting circles around him. I am not looking forward to him finding out that Kamille is doing way better than he is after what he just went through
>>23656421>Kamille remembers Scirocco's words regarding the price of being able to control the course of his revenge.I'm glad that he's learning. Controlling his emotions and learning to work with authority, soon enough Kamille will be the one with authority calling the shots. >>23656429>>23656449>>23656467I'm sure Jerid will be fine. He's starting to grow a loyal base of followers and has the willpower to keep moving forward. I'm more worried for AEUG honestly. Mezun and Quattro now need to worry about a hardened radicalized warrior out for retribution, while Titans psycommu technology leaps forward thanks to a different person they harmed and radicalized.
>>23656421Now all he's missing is an eyepatch to finish his transformation.
>>23656421>oxygen deprived mind>>23656467>Hydro JeridAll we need now is a run where he's not getting meals and we have les enfant terribles
