Infinity looks mediocre and is the one that looks the least like Gavan despite being the only one that's actually supposed to look like a cop.
Silver looks amazing and I think I honesty like it more than the previous 2 Gavan designs, although I still prefer the Sharivan and Shaider designs.
I also really Golden but it doesn't feel fitting for a girl design, specially the helmet.

One thing I'm worried about Gozyuger is that I feel like there's not enough time to resolve the Tsutsumi plot line and I'm beginning to believe that the actual competition will get resolved in the VS. Super Sentai movie while the main story will focus on resolving the calamity and TegaJune which kind of feels like copout but I guess it would be better than rushing the plot even more.

Kazuki Nakashima would be the best case scenario, if not him Minato Takano specially now that Project R.E.D is a bit closer to the Shounen demographic but the likeliest choices are Kaori Kaneko, Natsumi Morichi, Nobuhiro Mouri and Tatsuto Higuchi in that order, out of those Higuchi is the only choice I would actually like.

Super Sentai has been a constant commercial failure ever since 2015 despite being constant critical success ever since 2020, they actually were supposed to cancel the franchise back in 2021 but they were able to negotiate extending it 5 more years, but since sales only improved slightly they pull the plug on the franchise and start a new one where every season is actually connected but retaining some Super Sentai DNA such as Red protagonists and Mecha. However because they don't confidence that a new franchise could survive in the market, they decided that every entry should be a revival of old shows from the Studio, in this case Gavan (the first entry of the franchise Metalder belongs to, which is what then got adapted into VR Troopers) despite these shows actually having nothing to do with the old ones.
Picrel are the domestic sales of Super Sentai from 1994 onward, anything below 8 billion is seen as a failure and in Kyuranger's case they went overbudget so it's still considered a failure despite sales increasing. The cause for the decline of domestic sales is that Mecha toys from other companies are mostly better than Super Sentai and the toy designers only decided to improve their tactics with Donbrothers before going back to making shit toys. They lost their star power helping sales due to Ninninger being being a mediocre show while the franchise Yokai Watch was completely dominating the market and making other franchises sell less that year, then up to Ryusoulger while not terrible the shows were a farcry from the expected quality of the franchise. Now they should have been able to compensate with Power Rangers sales, but the owner of the IP sold it to Hasbro meaning the Japanese gain no money from Power Rangers, and their contract doesn't allow them to release Super Sentai and media related to it outside of Asia, so making a new franchise to circumvent the issue is more feasible financially.

Toysales are the lifeblood of the franchise. The ratings cratered a long time ago that they are dependent on the toy sponsors (Bandai). Gekiranger is done by Tsukada so it should be fairly easy to do an anniversary movie since the cast is so tight-knit. Kyuranger's cast also doesn't seem difficult to get but with Mochizuki demoted it seems unlikely to get a special, although I could see it getting a crossover with Project R.E.D due to space.
Otherwise Carranger cannot get an anniversary because Yellow Racer passed away, Megaranger at most can get a stage show or maybe an animated project since multiple of its rangers became voice actors but then again Toei seems to be unable to make Super Sentai anime due since they can't release them on western platforms due to the Saban contract and Zyuohger cannot get anything because Leo disappeared and Tusk quit after the incident.

The idea behind Xros Wars toyline wasn't bad, the combining gimmick of XW as a whole appeals to me since I love combining mecha. And I do like the Shoutmon Xros stuff.
But the Xros Wars toys were ass. Their cheapness prevented them from really taking advantage of the gimmick.
Meanwhile, we know the game stuff since it came directly from the one heading up the games at the time, Habu. He talked how he worked to convince them to try something new with what he noticed in terms of who was buying it, and why starting with Re;digitize the games all targeted older audiences. And their success with that gave them more freedom, and we got stuff we never would have gotten before.

Its easier to target older audiences with video games. Its a singular product with a one and done sale, maybe DLC later nowadays.
