Is there a way to change the color of a clear part while also keeping it clear? I want to change the HGTO GM’s visor from blue to the classic GM green. I tried just doing light coats, but it stayed mostly blue and stopped being clear so I kind of just went back several steps here.

>>23655804I just used to put my painting lights close up after half an hour orso and then let that be for a while, but nowadays with led they don't produce enough heath for that. Hair dryer is probably an option but be carefully you don't bake your models. I like my paint to dry at least overnight before I continue working on a model to minimize damage.

Second time painting a kit, enamels by hand, and the edges are giving me trouble. You can see the primer sticking out like a sore thumb. This is only the second coat, is another coat or two likely to fix this or is it something I'm doing wrong?

Is an 8 hour drying time enough to paint over lacquer primer? I fucked up and scraped a shoulder at the tail end of a build and now I had to sand it down and reprime and now that one tiny piece is holding back the entire build before I can put it in a tupperware coffin and store it away forever.
