Metaverse is three episodes, basically an hour of total show time, and supposed to be a celebration of the build part of the franchise. The basic set up of the show is a standard onee-shota show set in hawaii. She's the big sis who works at a gunpla store, and gets the protagonist into gunpla. Instead of just staying in it's lane for three episodes and doing big sis teaching kid to love gunpla. They come up with a stupid trauma plot involving the big sis character's twin sister, keep in mind you had three episodes each 24 minutes, and the first of those has to indtroduce the show while also putting in cameos of past characters in the build part of the franchise. Really you have two episodes, less if you include wrap up, for this trauma plot for the big sis. Long story short, protagonist has to get big sis out of her funk, and set things right wth big sis and her twin sister. The plot went about as well as you would expect shoving that kind of plot in that limited a run time would. Also you never see her sister in real life. No idea why that always bugged me. They should have just spent the three episodes teaching the kid how to gunpla battle on a surfboard while playing a ukulele. It would have been a better show.
