It's a shame that they decided to make Shazara and Spiral Knuckle mutually exclusive when they're both solid picks.Aizam the Third is a reasonably powerful mech, the pilot eventually learns Enable and you get a Rebellious skill part to toss onto Duke/Kappei/Roll/Shinobu/Kouji/Tetsuya to make them into better tanks.Spiral Knuckle gives Dangaioh a reasonably priced move to use for bulkier mooks and is also their longest ranged attack, which can come in handy on multiple occasions for low turns.Overall, I think Spiral Knuckle might be the more practical choice for NG since money's tight and you have several other enable sources (Cecily/Rain/Marvel/etc)

Compared to doing the Y DLC stages at endgame, they have so far appropriate tweaks for early game.No Lelouch or Miorine mentioned when they talk about needing a negotiator for the energy deals.Most characters that appear in the maps match the early game and so don't change. But there is one exception. The MJP crew is added to W's joining stage if you do it later on, and they're nowhere around doing it early.A small but unexpected change is that doing the on-board stage where Roger and Isaac bond for a bit during early game, they actually change Roger's line about Ale & Vent and just reference it as a "nearby pub". Man, it's crazy they bothered having multiple versions of this line, but let that later Wufei one escape.W has unique in-battle lines against pretty much everything so far I'm encountering in the main story. Heavy Metals, Mobile Suits, AIs, Wulgaru... only couldn't trigger ones against Aura Battler. He just used one for fast opponents, but it could be just RNG. Roger surprisingly has a specific battle line against alien invaders (telling the enemy they aren't worth negotiating with after they've resorted to invasion). Unfortunately, like everyone else said, they're completely silent in the actual story.Also, like I said, outside of the DLC 1, I'm only doing the main stage battles, so the MJP crew joins during the 2nd WfM stage. They appear when the Wulgaru attack as reinforcements. hyped up by the crew for a bit, but soon when they start bickering Cross tells everyone about their fame as the fail five. Then after the battle you get the reveal they're being permanently stationed in the A.Advent and you get the entire first half of the show exposition you'd usually get in their own stage.
