It's a really weird approach and I really don't know how anyone signs off on it, even accounting for reference monitors not giving the same experience.

It's the number 1 Gundam movie in the entire world and surpassed all records. And it didn't need the artificially boost of a pandemic to do it. People are STILL talking about Seed Freedom 1 year after it came out.
