like all banrise ideas, they hit gold the first time and milk it hard not realizing it requires good writing, passionate creators, etc.. The build fighters metaverse was so blatantly lacking soul and was clearly just to try and capitalize on the metaverse shit "early" and then look what happened, the metaverse concept fucking bombed hard and nobody gives a fuck about it, VR shit isn't gonna take off.

It has been more 5 years since Re:Rise ended. And Build Metaverse in spite of Bandai making a big Metaversa push at the time was just a 3 episode mini-series.
