Is anyone else tentatively excited for Brandon Sanderson’s space opera arc? It will probably be Nasu-level “I got bored of writing fantasy so let’s go to space” hack bullshit, but I’ll read Skybreaker power armor versus Mistborn TIE fighters if it means I get galactic-level Blackthorn war crimes.
"fantasy in space" is the only good sci fi so yeah
its just a slog reading through his prose for me honestly
>>23685746Unlike mecha anime, I actually have some standards when it comes to novels. >>23685748"hardboiled detective in space" is the only good SF.FTFY
>Is anyone else tentatively excited for Brandon SandersonNo.
>>23685746If it's less than Wind and Truth's 1000 pages of nothing happening I'll get it out of the library one of these days
>>23685746>Brando SandoYeah, I'm real excited for an overlong, poorly plotted, door stopper that's just part one of a five plus part series of overlong poorly plotted door stoppers that retards like to guzzle on booktube because of MUH WORLD BUILDING. Fuck off.
This isn't the sci-fi board.>>>/lit/
>>23685872Fourth ideal Skybreakers are mobile suits.
>>23685756I was enduring it, but His villians aré always so shitty the novels become unreadable to me, odium, taravagian and mash are so boring and genéric that i can't stand reading the books knowing the bad guys leading the conflict are that unapealling and shallow
