Did you watch the compilation film? Because Turn A's are terrible. It's a slow burn series, it doesn't work as a compilation film.

Original series. I really enjoyed the first two acts & how unique they were from prior series, it's when they got to space that I felt it fell apart.

The space part is good, but they clearly rushed it after Gym's introduction, everything that wasn't directly related to dealing with Agrippa needed more exposition, Gym himself is a massive letdown because he barely exists and Guin's entire deal is not dealt with in a realistic time frame considering the pace of the rest of the show.
Still a great show imo, just sorta tripped over near the end, they should have have like 6 more episodes to wrap things up.

Turn A is a show about invoking feelings, small-scale plots, broad themes. It excels at those. It fails when it tries to transition to a more traditional Gundam structure. It didn't set itself up to do that, and the "grand payoff" falls flat as a result.
