I saw people outside this site saying 3's actor and The Lady's actress are really famous in Japan
Is this true?
>>
>>23705155
Wonder how her Panic powers will work? Also glad that this will probably give a more tangible connection for Nasuka to the plot
Really excited for the rest of the show since it seems like it will have an Ex-Aid-style pacing, I really hope they don't fuck this up

>the thing NOX! took from ZERO was his memory. (he clearly said 'Zero no memory')

so yeah, the whole 'ZERO is a human being controlling the bike remotely' was indeed bullshit. theres no human Zero.

Nox called the bike body just a “controlled puppet” so it does mean there’s a human Zero somewhere

Excellent fights, but once again, the villains are edgy bores. Luckily, this new agent team they’re introducing seems far more interesting. If the girl they seem to be helping next week is that female agent, then it seems she has an actual character to her and is not just an evil goon. So it will be cool to see how these new agents operate. Number 3 seems like a dick but his lackeys are probably deeper characters.

yeah, and i still dont buy it since said puppet has a 'memory core'.

Sure, they just explained that the info stored in that core are the communication logs and transmission data between CODE's HQ and ZERO, meaning that they plan to use it to pinpoint the HQ localization. but i'm still not convinced. mainly because LA SEÑORA claims that she wanted ZERO alive, so maybe she knows Zero's a robot, a secret probably NOX! aint aware of.

i am saying this also because for story reasons, Baku asked ZERO for him to explain about CODE's big secret if he carries out the mission, and he agreed, but since ZERO is out of the picture now Baku wont get the answers. if there were a human ZERO around then it wouldnt matter for the robot to be working or not and he would try to contact Baku in some other way. but since now Agent Cockface is in charge and Zero doesnt answer, that can only mean one thing: that Zero IS the robot.

but, enough of my rambling, lets just see whats gonna happen.
>>
I am so glad they haven't forgotten Inazuma has super speed yet. Nox's Rider Kick was also very cool

But the best moment of the episode was Baku using Impact with no belt to kick Nem out of the Nightmare like Gohan in DBZ.

Shit! That looks like the dam from the first episode of Kamen Rider and Shin. They should’ve fought in those other areas.

The Lady looks like an older retired AV actress. That nurse girl reminds me of my ex gf from when I was teaching in Japan. She always wore her hair like that.

The highlight for me was glasses Minami-chan.
Hhhhhnnnnnggggg!!!!!
Disappointed she didn’t stay like that for longer.
>>
Am I the only one who keeps hearing Shadow Dimension for Nox's finisher? My brain can't process it as Redemption.

it is Redemption. but if you hear it as another thing because you also believe NOX! doesnt deserve shit, i dont think anybody's gonna blame you.

It was pretty whatever, not as good as the previous one. Despite joining the team, it seems like Minami will still be stuck interacting almost exclusively with Baku (and whatever victim of the week she aids him with). The stuff with the cardboard box comedian was just a tangentially related joke, and not a very good one at that. And espite this episode revisiting the plot thread of Nem's disappearance, we didn't actually learn anything too surprising, The Lady was involved in her kidnapping, which is to be expected since we already saw Nox holding her sleeping body captive 10 episodes ago (I'm still waiting to get a good explanation for pic related). There was nothing too interesting going on with the victim of the week, she just had to find comfort in the exact same words Baku has been spouting since the Nem dad 2-parter because he's obviously not going to find her just yet.

Speaking of Nem, it's pretty disappointing that, 17 episodes in, she's still more of a plot device than an actual character even in episodes that revolve all around her, despite her being promoted as the Main Heroine of the show (Minami's the one who's effectively playing that role despite not being the actual one). And with more recurring female characters entering the show, I can't say it's looking good for her.

It's nice to see that Nox has kept that little bit of development he got at the end of Q1 despite still being a villain. He really should cut the cryptic bullshit out if he really wants Baku to back out. It's also clear he doesn't even like working for The Lady, so is he really doing all of this just to get back at CODE? Also, CODE HQ raid incoming.

Because she IS a plot device

I like that Baku was smart enough to use Recovery on the Zeroider even if it didn't restore Zero's comms for obvious reasons. I was also totally expecting him to save Nem using Wonder to get inside the Wolf's body, but nope, a strong kick was all it took for the Nightmare to spat her out, which is kinda underwhelming imo. Also Nem's line that she couldn't escape on her own because she had to play her role in the dream makes me wonder if we'll see more instances of her being forced to play a role that's detrimental to the heroes.

I'm surprised to see the mystery man at the end was actually Agent No. 3 instead of Zero's real identity. His broccoli hair looks like ass, and just like The Lady, he looks so very obviously evil. That CODE was evil all along arc is definitely coming. Also, I wonder if that headache Baku got at the end was a result The Lady's powers or if he's suffering more side effects from his Capsem use.

The fights are still heavily carried by the SFX (I do like how Nox is using his Shadow powers) and some cool shots here and there since the choreography itself is still mostly clunky, but Inazuma's spinning kick was nice. Also, I guess it's time for Plasma to start jobbing, while KR Nox already has a better track record than Nox Knight ever did.

Like I said, she's also supposed to be the Main Heroine. If you're just gonna have her as a plot device, why even bother making her part of the main cast?

>and i still dont buy it since said puppet has a 'memory core'.
Cameras also have memories because they also record stuff, Nox said "memory" in English and in singular, not "kioku" or "memories". If Zero was an autonomous robot, there would be no point in calling him a "remote-controlled puppet" in the first place. Zero's robot body has always been described as a remote-controlled machine, not the actual person itself, even before this episode and even in outside material (which also revealed CODE was a real organization and not a product of Baku's dreams long before he made that realization in the show itself.

There would also be no point to pic related if Zero was just a robot all along.

I swear I've seen this plot before. The baddies use the bigwig's memories to create a superweapon.

>I'm still waiting to get a good explanation for pic related
You mean the oddity of seemingly hiding a physical body in their version of the Zeztz Room? There's clearly some shenanigans going on, but it's also clearly meant to tie into the overall mystery of the enemy faction's plans for Nem.
I'm starting to think Zero's situation parallels hers to a certain degree.

>>23705378
>I was also totally expecting him to save Nem using Wonder to get inside the Wolf's body, but nope, a strong kick was all it took for the Nightmare to spat her out, which is kinda underwhelming imo.

I'm torn on this, because as much as an elaborate usage of his recovered arsenal would have been great, Baku getting fed up after getting beaten by Nox and literally rescuing Nem by brute force was entertaining in its own right.

Inb4 Nem finally wakes up, but she has to give up her chance at freedom so that her soul can be used as the catalyst for the final form Capsem.

You're kidding right? The writing of the spin-off is abysmal which is a shame because Minami is indeed the best character from Zeztz

>>
>>23706255
No, I am a plotfag and Takahashi is very clearly pinning Baku together with her with all the scenes he wrote showing them slowly getting closer to one another.
>>
>>23706249
Nemu is just another retarded Takahashi anime/pixie girl stereotype like Poppy, Izu and Tsumuri, but even more useless and her underage actress can barely act.

Minami is a more well rounded characters that genuinely cares about Baku while having her own life at the agency.
>>
>>23706259
Heroine≠Romantic interest
>>
>>23706259
Minami helps out more, has better interactions with Baku, is more of an emotional support to him, and is all around a more fleshed out character than Nem. That's why she's a better Heroine than her, you stupid SEAmonkey.
>>
>>23706228
The actress and character is extremely competent, like surprisingly so considering how new she is.
Sota made the right call to force Takahashi to make Baku's sister younger just to fit the actress because he liked her so much. Some of her deals are also subtle like her stopping Baku this episode when he was approaching the nurse after she admitted she was lying. For me her and Fujimi are easily the best characters of the show, although there isn't a single character I would consider bad aside from Nox, I just hope what Kami said about him making sense once Q2 ends is true and not just some cheap marketing tactic to keep people watching.
