Because it's funny. I enjoyed the part with everyone bringing Hoeru food to help him get back on his feet, even if it did feel reminiscent of the scene from King-Ohger.
I also think it's a bit late in the game for Hoeru to be doubting himself, especially after the episode where he sacrifices his "good" timeline for his friends' wishes. That aside, I'm looking forward to seeing what Fire Candle plans on doing here. Is he technically a No One? Can he bodyjack someone too?

From my understanding he isn't despite being created by TegaJune, it's why the 4 generals are able to operate freely on Earth while the No Ones are incapable of going there without a host

The plot itself went unsalvageable prior to the scandal.
