Mugen is not a standard Survive Card, it's the strongest one. Gold is not Mugen's signature color, it's the signature color that represents Survive gear in general, that's why all Survive Cards have golden borders. So it stands to reason that the strongest Survive Card would give the Rider even more golden bits than the other two to show that it's on a league above them. If anything, Mugen's signature color would be white, not gold, since that's the color of its gem in the Card, Goldphoenix's body and the Goldvisor. Which makes it more obvious that the signature color of the Survive Card used by a Rider doesn't affect their Survive Form's color scheme, all they do is give them golden accents, potentially to varying degrees depending on whether it's Mugen or the other two.
