This is the Take no Yamikazuchi, the main mecha of Kannazuki no Miko. Say anything about this mecha.
>>23709981I'm surprised it got a moderoid
>>23709981I prefer the Takemikazuchi
FLUTERAPE
>>23709983What's even more surprising is just how good it turned out.It somehow ended up being way more posable than the Iczer Robo they released at around the same time.
Watching the series and episode 8 made me go "what the hell?" at Chikane
>>23710299What made the Iczer Robo less posable?
>>23710301>"what the hell?" at ChikaneThat right there is one reason why we need Kannazuki no Miko in a Super Robot Wars game: the novelty of various character from other mecha anime asking that question.
>>23710319It was simply primitive jointwork with no flourishes or ingenuity so no pull-out joints to increase the range, basic hip-peg connections that don't swing out, etc.I guess the big issue was that for some reason they made it surprisingly tiny while most people probably expected it to be only slightly smaller than their Dangaioh, resulting in the model not being able to support the needed engineering.Meanwhile ToY has 180° kneejoints, a chest joint with a high range of motion, swing-out hips and more. The accessoires and gimmicks are also night and day.TnY has its sword, working mechanics for its not-Mei Oh attack with optional bigger crystals, whatever that gimmick with the shoulderpads was, an optional chestplate for its cannon, etc. while Iczer has... uh, an optional face and hand pieces - they couldn't even be bothered with a beam or thruster effect to add at least a bit more value to it.
>>23710301>>23710334Well at least she has a stronger reasoning in the manga.
>>23710550>>23710032Watched the 10th episode. I honestly feel more confused at Himeko and Chikane's relationship the further I watch the series. Himeko as a protagonist also feels the weakest aspect of the series with how passive she is.
>>23710562Well you'll get to the anime reasons but in the manga because of the stuff with Soma and her own self loathing Chikane gets the wrong impression that Himeko love for her has weakened so she engineers a plan so that Himeko will hate her enough to break the cycle of rebirth on her own, since when the stuff is resolved the remaining miko restores the world by remaking it and the two have always chosen to remake it the same as it was even knowing the two of them being reborn also brings back Orochi, and free herself from this endless suffering. Chikane does the rape specifically because it's as she calls it an "unforgivable act". And her plan ultimately fails because Himeko still loves her no matter what.
>>23710334And then Ange, doesn't say anything and just chuckles.
>>23710562Funnily enough I recently watched KnM as well and I agree that Himeko is the worst part of the series, made worse by the fact that the series spends so much time on her and Chikane but neither have any chemistry together and only seem to like each other because the script forces them to. On the other hand, Himeko's relationship with Souma was way more convincing and natural. KnM is a weird show, I loved the mecha aspects of the show and the cool Shinto themes, I really enjoyed Souma and Tsubasa's rivalry too, but I just hated both Chikane and Himeko.
>>23710562*feels like
>>23710334>Allenby: She loves you so much>Kallen: Goddammit Allenby
>>23710857>>23710585Watched episode 12, the finale of the series. Honestly, it really made me test my patience and suspense of disbelief with Chikane and Himeko's character and storytelling as a whole.
