Thats a thing with all old mangaka. They used to pump out a bunch of short serializations so youd have a Dante for every Devilman someone like Go Nagai makes. Sometime ago every magazine seems to have started gunning for decade long running series so for the newer gen of mangaka you only get like one or two notable works they made at all because it ran for 10 years or more.
