Takara's kids lines usually go on to release 2~3 waves of repaints/redecos, for about year after their show ends.

But were still beholen to American sensibilities.The only American influence on Car Robots was the Destrongers using the US codesigned Transmetal 2 aesthetic and likely Black Convoy/ Spychangers since they were originally made for toys intended for the US market.
