>>23758776>>23759028Thanks for the complements!When I draw something with a really dynamic pose like that I usually start out by blocking things or capturing the gesture of the motion with loose outline sketches. Then I fill it in with a block of color and slowly refine things like details or adjusting proportions.Here's another example of how I start a drawing, it's even more loose.Also helps to have a figure on hand to look at. For both drawings I had physical toys.imo it helps to skip the construction phase if you can, with enough time you can learn to just kinda internalize the boxes and sense where they should be and how to distort them in perspective. everything flows more loosely after that.
