What are your pros and cons on Zeztz's 20th episode?

>>23732636Whatever mysterious statue at the end looked cool, so I'm intrigued to see what type of enemy it spawns. And fuck off Nox, stop trying to kill children to start the apocalypse. You're beyond redemption.
Who the fuck is the new Rider if not Six
>>23732838We were told that Nox's actions would make sense at the end of Q2, so I'm assuming that Nox brainwashed himself with Erase into being retarded on purpose so that he could get in with The Lady without being found out by her mind-reading.
>>23732636>>23732831Meh episode. Wish it would've spent more time on the B-plot of the senior Agents trying to hunt Nox down because it was the most entertaining part of the episode, I really did not give a fuck about the shenanigans with the kids and the Baby Nightmare. While I was already suspecting that it was a shared dream between the boy and the girl given how much "protagonism" the girl was getting in it, the twist that it was actually all the kids' shared dream did come out of nowhere since only the aforementioned duo were part of the journey and the rest acted like NPCs just like the adults, we didn't even see them playing hero until the reveal. I'm guessing all these kids might be being groomed to be CODE's next generation of Agents of there's really a connection between the, but said connection could also be something much more simple.Looks like Minami will really be getting sidelined now that they want to focus on Nem more, which sucks. It seems like they're setting Nem up to do something useful with her powers, so at least there's that. Also, forget what I said last week about Nem's powers and her status as an idol being unrelated, maybe it actually was part of The Lady's plan to make her an idol so she could spawn Nightmares in as many people's dreams as possible, and then got her into a coma so she could spawn in people's dreams and generate Nightmares 24/7. Her producer/adoptive dad may or may not have been in on the plan, and if he was, Nox might've wanted to get him killed to tie up loose ends and prevent The Lady's plan from getting leaked. This could also put a dark twist on the speech from last episode about Nem serving as people's source of happiness, since it would mean her vocation as an idol was predetermined by the villains just to spawn more Nightmares. But this is all just a theory of course.(1/2)
What the fuck, I thought this picture is Ultraman Zero
>>23732897Really wish Three got to interact with Baku more, they're not really exploring the interesting idea of Baku having to deal with a more ruthless commander much, and that in turn makes the show feel more hollow than usual with Zero's current absence from the cast dynamics. Five is definitely a fodder goon since they didn't even bother introducing his civilian persona at all during his debut episode, I do like how brutish he was during his fight. Can't say much about Six still.Nox was the same as always, spouting cryptic bullshit even when (he thinks) nobody's listening, I wish he was beaten up way more than he was this week. Him getting a tracking chip on his clothes and not noticing at all does make him look hilariously incompetent for a secret agent, but who knows, maybe he and The Lady will get the last laugh next week.Kureha did the PSB's work for them this episode, which made them look more useless than usual. Hopefully them getting their first picture of a Nightmare does go somewhere. With the junction and some other details about this episode, it seems like they're already building up towards Zeztz's next upgrade. RPG Hero Nem being in the junction, the Baby Nightmare's head making a pose similar to the buff critter in the Dualmare Capsem, and even Nem's sword having red, blue and yellow gems like the Capsems advertised with the Triple Zeztzer gun. I wonder if Orderm's Nightmare will be whatever super boss Nightmare the "Demon King" might turn out to be, or if it will just be the weekly monster we're going to get in the next 2-parter.(2/2)
>>23732903Forgot to mention, I assume that the "Demon King" will be summoned once all the dream doors they have under the ominous statue open.
>>23732831Felt more like a "part 1" than the others. Can't say much about it besides the village CGI reminding of Chavo del 8.
>Villager A >the OP party memberlol Toei knows their stuff
Has there been any further updates that Tokushoutsu is streaming the new Gavan show as well. It would be awesome to have Super Hero Time in one sitting without downloading.
What are your debut impressions on Lord Five?
>>23732897I don't think they're being groomed. Seems like we're finally getting to see what happens when a nightmare grows too powerful and what might have driven CODE's initiatives. Seeing as how kids are being targeted in groups and kids were used to develop into agents I'd guess there must be something about them that makes them desirable by nightmares. I've always wondered by it seemed like the only precedents we hear about black cases prior to ep 1's events were related to Nox but I'm thinking they've just been covered up the whole time. Erase seems to be a standardized capsem so that gives a means for it and the trend of actions still point towards an ultimately justifiable ends for CODE. 3 and 5 seem to have been active independently of Zero so I'd have to guess they were off fighting nightmares that aren't related to Nem which has been the common point for all the cases we've seen so far besides Baku.
Post Kureha's smirk
>>23732831Pro-The code agents doing their stuff.-Nem (in an absolutely innocent way, she's just a brave and stunning character)- We might be closer to get a true intimidating antagonist, unlike Nox. It's an interesting set up.- Minami being best girlCon-Nox jobbing to a non KR agent. This guy can't last two chapters without being power creeped. At least let Kureha and the new guy do a 2 vs.1.- Nox's fight was lame- I don't understand why Baku didn't do the cam stuff earlier.
>>23733121>Seems like we're finally getting to see what happens when a nightmare grows too powerfulWe already know what happens when all of a Nightmare's Mind Doors open, they manifest in the real world, take over their host, put them to sleep indefinitely as they do so, and they release a bunch of nightmare butterflies in the process. This case seems to be something deliberately concocted by The Lady's faction, given what Nox and Three said.>I've always wondered by it seemed like the only precedents we hear about black cases prior to ep 1's events were related to Nox but I'm thinking they've just been covered up the whole time.Black Cases have been reported since the year 2000, back when Nox was only around 8 years old, and the reports increased since January 2025. We do know that Nem was kidnapped 4 years ago and that Nox resigned from the police and went missing 1 year ago.We also know Fujimi's been investigating the Black Cases for a while and his whole division is centered around them, while Kureha was also investigating Black Cases after she left CODE and she didn't get mindwiped a second time because of it, so the Black Cases probably weren't being actively covered up (since there were reports prior to the show and they're really hard to investigate without dream powers anyways), they probably just increased in frequency a few months before the show's events due to Nox and The Lady's actions.
>>23732994Which one airs first? Kamen Rider or Super Sentai/Gavan?>>23733093He seems like a dumb brute type, I look forward to Zeztz styling on him down the line.
Nox fucking sucks. Why are all of Takahashi's secondary Riders so fucking bad?
>>23733305what's worse is that unlike the past three secondaries, he's very important to the plot, so his shittiness is front and center l
>>23733338It's weird how Takahashi does that. He always has a Rider or two who's ultimately more important to the plot and feels more like an actual deuteragonist than the official secondary because they have a more important relationship with the lead Rider.>combination of Para-DX and Genm>Thouser, maybe Horobi>Buffa
>>23732831Hard to say, since it was mostly a setup for the next episode. Even they seem to have known that, since so much of the preview in the previous ep apparently came from next episode, at least where it concerned the Nox/Five/Six fight.Minami's reaction to the baby Nightmare was cute though. As was the Nightmare's antics with Baku.I really want to know if the Nightmare from the drawing is just a suped up Nightmare general, or an early tease of the final boss.>>23732876I'm surprised I haven't seen that possibility come up more often. It would give some extra weight to Nox's long silence when Five questions his goal, beyond being unintentionally hilarious.>>23732897>maybe it actually was part of The Lady's plan to make her an idol so she could spawn Nightmares in as many people's dreams as possible, and then got her into a coma so she could spawn in people's dreams and generate Nightmares 24/7.>>23732903>Him getting a tracking chip on his clothes and not noticing at all does make him look hilariously incompetent for a secret agentI got the impression he allowed himself to be tracked to draw his stalker out (notice his reaction was mocking surprise at seeing Kureha again, not that he was being followed), not expecting to fight a completely different agent or more than one. Still a major gaffe on his part though. >and even Nem's sword having red, blue and yellow gems like the Capsems advertised with the Triple Zeztzer gun.It did seem like there was a lot of focus on her with the sword, didn't it? Although it made me think of the leaks of the tertiary wielding a sword. I know it's supposed to be a guy now, but there's been conflicting reports about the tertiary since the start. Even the early mockups turned out to have been for Catasrom. Just a thought.
>>23733304Rider
sex with Nem
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SyTTkOyF5SAThe episode.
>>23732907Also, I can see how Baku might come at odds with the Lords later on. With Six mentioning that Three wants to crush Nightmares at the source, and if Nem's right about the Nightmares being born from her subconscious, CODE might seek to kill or at least kidnap her in the future.>>23733419>I really want to know if the Nightmare from the drawing is just a suped up Nightmare general, or an early tease of the final bossThe suit is apparently showing up next week, so it's unlikely that it's the final boss.>I got the impression he allowed himself to be tracked to draw his stalker outHe didn't mention anything like that nor the tracking chip when Kureha finally showed up. But who knows, we'll see next episode if he was just working as a distraction.>I know it's supposed to be a guy now, but there's been conflicting reports about the tertiary since the start. Even the early mockups turned out to have been for Catasrom. Just a thought.Don't be delusional, it's a guy, they bothered to give Lord Five a sofubi, but not Lord Six because she's a female. We also got a drawing for the Tertiary's helmet around that time.
>>23733377Notice how all of those guys are villainous rivals? Nox fills that role instead of being the MC's most reliable Rider ally.
The reason I know I could never be as good an agent as Baku is because I would have folded like fresh laundry before The Lady even tried to brainwash me.
>>23733733Is teaching agents magic tricks part of CODE’s grooming program too or is Baku just into that?
>>23733475in your dreams.
