Any /m/ or /m/-adjacent anime with a similar vibe to Gasaraki?>parapolitics>occultism>warfare>no goofy moe shit>conspiracy>emotional depthI love the mixture of conspiracy and occultism, the mystery of it all. Also had great pseudoscience with the mechs and them injecting the pilots with drugs and the weird interdimensional mecha juice. The cyberpunky inter corporation warfare was really cool, too. I haven't found anything quite like Gasaraki except for MGS and Genocidal Organ.

gasaraki fucking sucks though

Ghost in the Shell SAC
>>23732985Argento Soma has a similar vibe but not really. Gasarki is very unique, they'll probably never make anything like it
bump
All of you hyped up the grain politics so much, I was disappointed when all it did was cause a riot late in the story. Between this and that weird 7 samurai anime there aren't enough mecha anime with grain politics
>>23732985Full Metal Panic is very much like Gasaraki. Gotoh is a military nerd so it has a lot of the classic political thriller stuff. The only thing I'd warn you about is that FMP also has a lot of the typical otaku pandering elements(cute girls, high school setting, gag humor), but they're front-loaded into the beginning of the story. Once you get past like the first 1/3 to 1/2 of the story it becomes way more like Gasaraki. It's very much worth it imo.Infinite Ryvius has a similar vibe in the sense that there's shady political stuff in the plot and some occultism, but it's more of a sci-fi show. Also it follows high school kids who are stranded on a top secret military spaceship doing "lord of the flies".>>23733483Argento Soma is a good pick actually it's basically Evangelion with 80% less "goofy moe shit". You also have Rahxephon which is Evangelion with 50% less "goofy moe shit"
