So this game just release, and Is pretty much Gavan directed by Shinya Tsukamoto and tons of punk rock influences, my question Is: was anything like this ever made in tokusatsu? Could anything like this so explicitly experimental and adult be Made in the Toku market?
>DUDE ITS X AND Y AND REFERENCES Zso fucking tired of sudaslop
>>23747244respect for the dead man?
>>23747254Whats are you doingnhere then? EachTokusatsu show is 70% refereces to other shows and japanese culture in general
>>23747295If you are a marvelfag amerilard maybe.
>>23747295Just because someone likes the thing being referenced doesn't mean he has to like the person making them.
>>23747300That's movĂng the goalpost
>>23747244Gameplay looks like it feels like mediocre ass
>>23747244Suda51 was dead to me after No More Heroes 1. Did he actually manage to make a good game again?
I'm halfway through this game and have been avoiding the internet for spoilers It's fun as absolute fuck. The most soulful game I've played in years, you can tell they took every idea and ran with it to the moon, it's fun incarnate. If you liked the original no more heroes, killer is dead, TSA and shadows of the damned it's right up your alley. Playing on hard mode (orange chocolate) and it's very difficult, heart pounding intense gameplay, the weapons feel great. The story has been very compelling so far, I love the characters, they feel like classic suda characters unlike that bullshit slop we got that was nmh3 .It really does feel like suda directed a tokusatsu, it's my dream project honestly. The bosses deliver as much as the ones in the no more heroes games, great music too. It's everything I wanted from NMH 3 and then some, it's maybe my favorite grasshopper game aside from NMH 1 and FSR>>23747254Simply not true, this game is nothing like NMH 3 and there aren't just a thousand references to shit. Romeo has a very fucking cool narrative and interesting characters but everyone on 4chan is too jaded or simply contrarian and will regurgitate each other's nothing opinions regardless just because theyre just soursop negative Nancy's at heart
>>23747983Okay shill, maybe don't make a vedditor OP just name-dropping a bunch of shit you saw on reddit next time.
>>23747739Just checked some reviews, apparently it's just the standard "modern AAA action game" style of combat so, y'know.
