I’m reading the novels and there’s a lot of mentions of “nationalized vagans” apparently. When a bunch of them escaped into atmo at the end of Gen 2 I guess there were a lot of that just took that as Eden and started making families with Earthlings. They’re on like, government purge committee lists, but their families are left alone as long as they cooperate with the government

Kio doing Kira thing can be explained (after all the last protagonist was just a child so being very native is acceptable)and unlike Kira he is actually doing sth that actually helps the vagens by helping to solve the disease and did not give up on not killing people even the enemy was much stronger then him (Kira we know u did tried to kill shinn we all can see it)
I just think it's lame Kio got an OP Gundam that let him rescue Vagan pilots he defeated with zero issues the second he decided he was going to do it. It would have been nice to see him struggle a bit trying to do it before the AGE System made a weapon that let him do it based on his more recent fight data.
