I wish we could have gotten something like this, when anime was still produced on cells. Modern digital production tends to render everything with such a flatter, smeary look; for this adaptation, it's not providing the manga's contrast between high-detail environments and relatively simple character art. I'm looking forward to the show, but nothing in the PVs have really gotten me hype for it.
