Looks like it's going to be a remake not a sequel.https://youtu.be/BgpeWNMZpy4I'm not sure I understand why they're doing this when the original is already perfect but i will admit they got the art style and aesthetics down based on this trailer so maybe it'll be good. At any rate there's still room to do things differently since at least half the original series was filler arcs (I don't mean that pejoratively), and the manga had that bizarre Mokona ex machina ending that the anime ditched.Looks like everything in this trailer is from the first episode, no sign of the mashin or any of the supporting cast. Actually I'm pretty sure this is all from the first five minutes of the first because they don't even show Guru Clef.
