I've only got through about half of the various kamen riders, but unless I'm really unlucky on which ones I've seen most main riders don't even have a libido.

I was shocked when revice(?) had an episode where the mc was revealed to have had a high school crush.

No, he's gonna get a happy ending because he already got the tragic one at the end of the first half. Hongo wasn't alone by the end of OG show either.

Only because they were leaving that for 2/3 episodes later in V3. The original show really doesn't have a proper final episode. It's just a goodbye to Taki.

Nox is the one saying it, so I think she could still be his real sister. But if CODE approached her with a way to protect Baku, she's probably loyal to them.

Minami not being his sister got tossed around last week, I think it might've even been closer to the OP swap since there was more focus on the black cat and so people were trying to guess all the possibilities. The reason why it got dismissed is because everything we've seen from the first loop and side material makes it seem like Minami was completely in the dark about what Baku was doing, which doesn't make much sense if she was both an active agent, but also somebody with no blood relation that was planted into his family. We'll have to wait until the full details come next week, but the idea was dismissed because it doesn't make much sense.

It's funny how the one good thing Nox did in 30 episodes is still related to helping Nightmares. Even funnier that right after doing it he really went "don't worry about it, she's not your real family anyways". What a mentally deranged thing to say about someone you just saved. If there's anything Sieg and I have in common is our mutual hatred of Nox.
The twist to me feels hollow when I know for a fact that by next episode, Baku will say she's her sister in spirit anyway, and she will remain an ally for the rest of the show. It would be interesting if she suddenly became an antagonist and the relationship was permanently changed, like what happened to Zero, but I refuse to believe that will happen given this writer and how these stories tend to go. To me, it's the same as Nem being a "copy" in Geats. The character was fine before the twist, and the twist does not build up the character; it just makes them messier. To me, the only reason to do this is to have her kick ass in future episodes and the summer movie. Or to make her a Kamen Rider later.
Just the premise of Sieg turning her into a Nightmare and tricking Baku into almost killing her is enough, I don't know why to add that extra layer for no real reason.

It's so funny and hypocritical of him to be so assblasted about CODE being overly pragmatic and treating their Agents as pawns rather than humans when he does the exact same thing with everybody he comes across including innocent civilians.
>>
>>23807121
One of them is Baku's nightmare we've already seen in the show. The other is presumably Sieg's equivalent that got mentioned by name.

what did you want him to kill her or something? they're arguing about it next episode. but he was raised with her. unless it's all fake memories of growing together and they've just been together for a short time I don't mind them treating each other like siblings.

No you idiot, but if they’ll remain siblings the rest of the show then what’s the point in revealing they’re not related? If the characters will remain mostly the same then it’s a pointless twist.

>>
>>23807194
Yeah, in the second V-Cinema after the show ended. And it probably only happened because the actor wanted to call it quits afterwards. Not in the main series.
Also, nobody liked that movie, so it’s not that he had “balls”, he was just stupid.
>>
>>23807200
Everything is pointless to you when you're so assblasted autistic you cant even figure out basic nuances in relationships. "We may not be blood related, but we've always been together. We're family" is a real thing and after some initial friction, it's the kind of realization that signifies growth in a person's character.

>his fake sister
Preview has the lines "She just wanted to protect her only brother in the whole world," and "Use a new power to Zeztzscue your sister!" Minami is going to be his real sister, got recruited at some point before the show, finished training, got the mission from 0 about watching her brother, then got her memories wiped like 6. That's part of why they showed 6 retaining muscle memory when 5 jumped her in the second loop, to show why they would bother training Minami before wiping her. It's just going to be that Nox is fucking vagueposting again, and probably sees Minami without her memories as not being Baku's proper sister.

It was an okay episode, started out pretty whatever but it got better towards the end. One thing I didn't like was how the episode's tone kept switching between comedic and dramatic on a whim, it felt really jarring and ruined some of the tension from the more serious moments.

They really need to explain how Sieg has a bunch of the weekly Nightmares trapped in his lair, because so far it doesn't make any sense for Gun to be there if he had already been destroyed all the way back in episode 1, as we know that whole segment of the episode wasn't part of the premonitory dream since Zero was still expecting Baku at the Zeztz Room in the second loop. It feels like they just forgot that Gun should be dead and The Lady should have the Gun Capsem already.

Sieg himself was pretty whatever this episode, they should show off a different side of him that isn't cackling murderhobo soon.

Nox kinda reverted to his unlikeable edgy autist personality this week, but at least he's revealing things instead of doing more vagueposting. He's also not a full-on good guy yet since he's still on The Lady's side, but he hasn't really done anything villainous since the reset and has only been helping the good guys out so far. The reveal he made at the end sounded like something Sieg should've done just to fuck with Baku some more after Nox cockblocked his little ploy, but nope, Nox just decided to drop that info on Baku while he was comforting his "sister" after he was tricked into nearly killing her.

Nem was just there. Ironically, despite telling Baku that she would help him find his sister, she did the opposite and just distracted him from his quest. At the very least it seems like she'll get the siblings to patch things up next week, so it'll be one of the very few times where her role in a dream is actually relevant.

>>23807290
Fujimi and Nasuka have felt extra useless in this second half, they didn't even get to meet Nox after finding his hideout unlike in the premonition. I hope Fujimi's interaction with him next episode progresses the latter's character arc, though I'm not sure how much he's contribuye to his redemption since apparently Baku and Nox's first team up won't be happening until the movie.

While I like that they kept things ambiguous enough regarding Minami to not make the twist too obvious, there's a few scenes from previous episodes that don't quite line up with the reveal given the info we have so far, I really need to know the details about Minami's stint as an Agent to determine whether they make sense or if they're plot holes. That being said, I really like Minami as a character and I kinda see where they're going with the whole Cat Nightmare situation. This episode does confirm that Minami genuinely cares about Baku so I don't think she's fully loyal to CODE, and I interpreted the scene of her taking her cat pendant off as her putting her support of Baku over her mission as an Agent. I also liked Baku's acting in this episode, the actor really sells those panic attacks of his.

Catastrom hasn't felt as strong this past few episodes, and Wolf Shadow didn't really do anything noteworthy despite this being its debut. While Orderm isn't debuting against a major enemy, I'm glad that it's at least part of an arc that's emotionally significant for the protagonist, and I hope the cons of Catastrom get highlighted next week to really sell Orderm's significance as its counterpart and "fix".

>>
>>23807259
They revived her at the end.
>>
>>23807238
Baku might've been the first person Minami really grew to care about because they spent most of their lives together, making him her one and only brother in her heart even if they're not actually related by blood and only got paired together because of CODE.
>>
>>23807290
>Sieg himself was pretty whatever this episode, they should show off a different side of him that isn't cackling murderhobo soon.
they did, it's called hating nox
>>
The question is how did Nox learn to use the Noxdriver right on the spot
>>
>>23807309
It's not like he showed a seething hatred or a particular vendetta against Nox, he was just bummed out that he got in the way of his fun. He still acted like a childish murderhobo about it.
>>
>>23807113
>The reason why it got dismissed is because everything we've seen from the first loop and side material makes it seem like Minami was completely in the dark about what Baku was doing

Some people didn't want to acknowledge that the statement about Baku's misconception about Nox influencing his view of him in the dream could also apply to other characters. Minami didn't seem to know much because Baku didn't consider his only family to be a part of CODE, but even his precognition picked up certain signs (Minami not being surprised by Zero).

It's really astounding how people keep trying to pretend they're smarter than the show and have the nerve to get mad and say it doesn't make sense when they turn out to be wrong.

NTA, but if you need a separate, paywalled audio commentary to know a critical detail about the show's plot, it's because the show didn't do a good job at conveying it.

Also, you misinterpreted the staff's words. It's not that Nox literally had a different, much more evil vagueposting personality in Baku's dream, it's just that he seemed much more mysterious from Baku's perspective because he didn't know much about the guy and his intentions back then, the dream is what gave him the context to understand him more. The staff literally explains later on during that same commentary that the reason Nox vagueposted so much in the first half was because he was being cautious with his words since he knew The Lady was monitoring the dreams, he really wanted to warn Baku about certain things but he failed to get the messages across because of the way he intentionally delivered them.

This lines up with how the show itself and its characters are treating the premonition, they treat it as if Baku literally saw the future as it was supposed to happen, and Baku still had the expectation that Nox was planning do evil things when he made him the offer to help him out as long as he didn't hurt innocent people, instead of treating him as a completely different person from the one he saw in his dream.

Cope.
>>
>>23807200
If they're actually not related, the eventually twist is going to be that Baku was adopted, and if he's adopted it'll be that he's got mysterious dream/nightmare related origins. Minami's nightmare doors were in a house labeled Yorozu, so it's going to end up that that's her family's house, otherwise there's no point in having it outside of her bedroom in the shared apartment.

He did not in the series, the moment you see the new model is literally the ending, so yeah, cope.
>>
>>23807460
The final scene literally has Aruto choosing to name her Izu, and when one of his underlings points out that she'd basically be a different person now, Aruto brushes it off and says that it's fine because he'll raise her back into being the old Izu no matter how long it takes. Takahashi managed to shit all over an otherwise decent ending just with that bit at the end of the last episode.
>>
>>23807477

>>
>>23807478
If she was an entirely different character, Aruto wouldn't be talking about restoring her into her former self, retard. He's pretty much treating her as if she was just the old Izu with amnesia, he doesn't think he created a new person, he thinks he's just restoring his old partner back, that's why he chose to name her Izu again instead of something else.

Sure, same as when he's viewing Azu as Izu when Ark posses him, Izu and Azu are the same character, am I right?
>>
>>23807497
You mean the movie where Aruto tells nuIzu that he doesn't want to put her at risk *again*, when the only one that had ever gone through that kind of situation before was the old Izu, essentially treating her as if they were both the same entity? You mean the movie where Izu regains her old memories, fully restoring her just like Aruto wanted? They call her Izu, she acts like Izu, she identifies herself as Izu, and she has Izu's memories by the middle of the movie, the Izu projection even turns into data and goes inside the other one's body.
>>23807499
Aruto never considered Azu to be the same person as Izu, he literally told her to not act friendly with him and that she wasn't his secretary, Izu was. He was fully aware Azu just took on an appearance similar to Izu's in an attempt to convince him into starting a bloodbath, he hated it and didn't fall for it but he still continued down his path of revenge anyways because he was just that mad over Izu's murder at Horobi's hands.

I have though. Once we saw the school dream training program I mmediately thought that all the kids baku's age were CODE sleeper agents. Nemu's an out because of her changeling origins but I still found Minami sus because of how she reacts to seeing bikeman and what her being an agent might imply about actually being Baku's sister, particularly after what we saw of the Catastrom baby dream and the notable lack of their parents ever being brought up.

Dislike:

>>23807588
Of course he didn't. Apart from still reeling from the physical whiplash of resisting Catastrom's destructive urges (yeah dude, it fucking hurts), there's also the emotional damage of realizing he almost killed his (not)-sister. And well, he's Baku here and not the mostly emotionless Seven. For most people, strong emotions trump logic all the time, every time. Baku's actions here are not as unbelievable as some of you may think.
>>
>>23807521
>Aruto
The funny thing is you keep telling Aruto this, Aruto that, viewing Izu as the same old Izu, yet no one else, even her kind, thinks the same thing he did, which is literally the same situation the dude in episode 6 coped.

>Izu regains her old memories
Literally a different stream of data loaded from There, even made clear with 2 data streams personified as 2 Izu conversing with each other and then the old one loaded into the new one.
If you consider they are the same, then might as well make Katsuragi and Sento the same character, or Evolto and Soichi being one and the same,Misora and Vernage, etc
>>
>>23807595
Also recovery most likely won't work on separating nightmare and the dreamer.
>>
>>23807595
Good point I guess.
>>
>>23807608
>yet no one else, even her kind, thinks the same thing he did
The new Izu barely interacted with anyone else in the first place. The only fucking character that dared to imply she might be a different person got promptly shut down by Aruto himself, it's very clear how the show wants you to view the new Izu.

>which is literally the same situation the dude in episode 6 coped.
No, it was pretty different, because instead of recreating a robot that can be backed up, the dad tried to replicate a dead human being through a Humagear as best as he could, but even he wasn't delusional enough to believe she truly was his dead daughter and was willing to return the Humagear once he got caught instead of insisting she really was the very same daughter he lost.

NuIzu was literally a 1:1 recreation of the old one, they pointed out that the only thing that made her different from the previous one is that she didn't have the old Izu's memories, but she then (re)gains them in the movie. This is basically the same as every other Humagear that got destroyed and rebuilt, they load the old data into a new body, Izu just took a bit longer to regain her memories.

>then might as well make Katsuragi and Sento the same character
Sento literally recognized the fact that he is Katsuragi and willingly accepted the blame for his crimes because he knows they really are the same person, he just kept identifying as Sento even after getting his memories back as a symbol of his change and growth as a person, but he openly recognizes that both personas are part of the same man which is why they symbolically fuse during the Genius debut.

>Evolto and Soichi being one and the same,Misora and Vernage, etc
These aren't even remotely comparable, they're literal possessions involving completely different people that don't identify themselves as the same person, and the heroes also identify them as different people once they learn what's going on.
>>
>>23806992
I guess Takahashi saw the feedback about Tsumuri and decided to flip it
