What am I in for?
>>23809289A "just OK" show that's hindered by being only 12 episodes long and wanting to do a lot more in its runtime than it was able to. If you're familiar with Mizukami's other stuff you'll like it a lot, but don't go into it expecting another Biscuit Hammer (manga).
>>23809304>A "just OK" show that's hindered by being only 12 episodes long and wanting to do a lot more in its runtime than it was able to.Yeah, that's about right. It's got some cool ideas and I found its take on some common story elements refreshing, but it doesn't really rise past "huh, that was neat".Hiring Wakamoto to just bark for like six episodes was great, though.
Watch it and find out
>>23809289Decent show with awful sound design
>>23809304>>23809326That was a reason I ended up enjoying the manga more, it didn't have such a strict limit to length so even though it took a lot longer to come out and to finish it ended up feeling more complete and more enjoyable from the room to breathe a bit as the story moved.
>>23809304>but don't go into it expecting another Biscuit Hammer (manga). And that distinction is warranted because, for some baffling reason, Planet With was a success but apparently not enough to produce a Biscuit Hammer anime with way less budget.
>>23809289a perfectly condensed 26 episode Ultraman show rounded down to 12.
