Will Baku be putting Zero in the dirt next week?
What did you like and dislike about Zeztz's 30th episode?
https://mega.nz/folder/2QFTFKxJ#1qRPjOjMZjIrEAKt8NR2ig
>>23815212So is Orderm the same Nightmare as Catastrom? That doesnt make any sense, Will they explain why if there is supposed to be only 4 types of capsems we had a yellow and a clear one later?
That was awesome. I love Orderm's look. It being a sort of "Cast off" from Catastrom was cool.
>>23815212>>23815328That might honestly have been the worst Zeztz episode so far. My biggest fears came true, the Minami agent reveal was completely pointless as she's done with CODE and Baku accepts her as his family. The only thing they added was that Baku's parents worked for CODE, and you could have revealed that in many other ways that wasn't just "she's an agent". Nothing has changed from before or after outside of Baku getting a powerup due to the power of love, which isn't anything new in Kamen Rider, but it's done so poorly now. The conflict of the entire episode is just unbelievable for anyone above 5.>will Baku save or destroy the agemt who lied to him the whole time?Of course he will save her, he's not a psychopath. Even if he kept being mad at her, he would never let someone die, especially not someone he had so much history with. So obviously, the conclusion is clear for anyone to see. That they would spend an entire episode pretending like Baku wouldn't save her and see her as family is stupid and a gigantic waste of time. The new form looks cool, but the fight was just okay. Also Nox can still go fuck himself and I'd laugh my ass off if his endgame arc is rejoining the police.
If it wasn't already leaked, this would've been a cute way of teasing his final form as being primarily black.
What are your debut impressions on Zeztz Orderm?
>>23815326Nah, he'll probably steal the bike back soon though; and if he doesn't think of it first, then Nox will be the one to remind him to break and then fix it so it can't be remote controlled again.
>>23815328Back to back since Dawn's debut.
>>23815328This might have honestly been one of the best episodes by far. Also, sex with Minami
>>23815340Nem's been wearing those pins since much earlier, I even commented on them before the final form's appearance got leaked.
With the extremely serendipitous timing I absolutely had to make this edit while the iron was still hot.
isnt zero being dark zeztz himself seeming like a misdirection especially since it doesnt seem like like he's the person who would give baku a warning in person prior to actually trying to murk him
>For my next assignment... I have to have sex with agent 6?
>”shes not related to you by blood so she’s not really family”>even though you were both raised together all your life and Baku is just an adopted siblingNox is beyond stupid.
>>23815399Preview of the next episode has Zero standing in front of the bike getting charged at by Zeztz, and then a clip of Zeztz and Dark Zeztz fighting in the same warehouse. We've also got pic related from the site. Zero is at bare minimum directly controlling Dark Zeztz (similar to Zeroider) if he's not in the suit himself.>>23815430Never trust vagueposters.
>>23815390kek
I love Odaka Kensei so much.
>>23815344Was a standard form debut if anything else. Neither Meh nor Wow. By the books honestly. An actual insert song or even Play Back playing would make the sequence better.Armor should've give space so the belt is flushed rather than awkwardly sticking out.
>>23815436We know, fujimi.
>>23815344I really like the design but it feels kind of lackluster when its main power gimmick is basically something that Zeztz has been able to do from the first episode just that they're willing to splurge for a form debut.
>no setup for the new form>no setup on how it could do the thing it does
>>23815501an evolving credit scene again.
>>23815328Cat/1000Classic homoerotic scene betweeen nasuka&minami and odaka&fujimi
>>23815328>>23815344It wasn't quite a great episode, but it was good enough. I liked the drama between Baku and Minami, especially at the start when he lashed out at her while bringing up that they fucking killed him (in his dream). While they did address how Minami wasn't aware of certain stuff regarding Baku's role as Seven, they don't really explain why CODE decided to keep her in the dark about it, and it doesn't really make sense for them to not inform her about it if her job was to protect Baku so he can keep being a CODE asset. One would think they'd let her know when he finally started going out on dangerous missions so she could prepare for it and protect him adequately. It also doesn't make sense that they let her discourage Baku from being an Agent so openly and that they even allowed her to take a break from the job given how unscrupulous CODE has been shown to be, even in this very same episode. It's also weird that Nox never targeted her or at least warned Baku about her before this incident if he knew what her deal was all along and he wanted to stop Baku from being manipulared by CODE, he even went to search for her and called her a valuable source of information this episode, so it's not like he deemed her to be unimportant.(1/3)
>>23815523I called that Baku's parents were Agents that died on the job a long while ago, and that Minami's dramatic reaction to Baku's claim that he wanted to be like one in the first episode was related to that. It's funny that Minami is the parents' actual biological daughter because it means these Secret Agents went so deep into their covers that they had an actual child together. Also, if they were going to do the typical angle of the MC's parents being dead, I don't know why the show avoided addressing them and their deaths for so long, they could've easily had Baku and Minami mention the fact that they're orphans before and left the reveal that they were secretly Agents for this episode, because dropping that many reveals about them all at once out of nowhere felt a little jarring. It's funny that Fujimi thinks the local police can do something about a man with supernatural dream powers and a literal government organization that's way above in the hierarchy. Also, he tried to redeem Nox but the latter is still way too stubborn. I can tell his redemption is going to be a very slow burn even though he's not hurting innocent people anymore. And Nox still a faggot, simple as.The flashback where the meteor hits Baku after rescuint the cat was oddly comical and off-putting given the serious tone of the overall scene.Nem at least did something this episode, helping Baku realize that Minami's his loving sister no matter what. Also is it safe to say that Sieg is the show's designated vagueposter now?Yeah, the emotional resolution of this 2-parter became pretty obvious when they revealed Minami had only recently become an Agent and was pretty much blackmailed to do so, so there was no wrongdoing on her part outside of keeping quiet even after she took her break.(2/3)
>>23815328While the CGI wasn't as bad as the usual Toei toku standard I still didn't like itOtherwise I thought it was a fantastic episode, Zeztz is weird because I've found almost every two-parter of Zeztz really great on a vacuum but when you think of the implications it might have later on for the worldview they should be really bad, but the somehow I'm still having fun with the show so I'm not minding as much as I usuallywwould other shows, but I'm scared that Zeztz will absolutely fumble its landing.
>>23815525Although there were some sweet scenes here and there, the episode didn't get me as emotional as I thought it would for some reason. And I think Minami's twist didn't quite pay off when looking back on how much they were building up to it, since her role in the show and her relationship with Baku pretty much stayed the same in the end. I hope she can at least help out with something CODE-related in the future given her background, though I'm not holding my breath on that given the fact that they kept her in the dark about several important things. While I like Orderm's suit even more than Catastrom's and I find its Cast-Off Henshin sequence to be pretty cool, I'm not really impressed by its powers to create wireframe constructs (which is something Technolom Projection could pretty much do already) and I very much prefer to watch Catastrom wrecking shit left and right with its fists. It also doesn't help that Orderm debuted against what's basically a regular monster of the week, at least after Minami was separated from it. But it was nice to see the Dualmare Capsem itself finally be used as a drone, instead of a giant replica of it being summoned out of thin air, I hope they do some spying with it at some point.(3/3)
>>23815509Yuri is not a classic kind of fanservice in Rider.
I was surprised by Fujimi and Nasuka giving proper emotional support to the cast, I remember in Zero-One where Fuwa didn't give Aruto any form of consolation when Izu died which I initially found weird until I realized how little were the able to interact normally due to the show having so little downtimeI guess this is an advantage of Takahashi being forced to start slow which I appreciate, honestly I would prefer Takahashi starting slow every time if his cases of the week were always as good as Zero-One's Q1 or Lupin The Third Part IV but he's really inconsistent at doing cases of the week as a writer
>>23815330Obviously. Sieg himself said that baku sold his soul to the nightmare, there's no way they wouldn't address that.
>>23815536>I remember in Zero-One where Fuwa didn't give Aruto any form of consolation when Izu died which I initially found weird until I realized how little were the able to interact normally due to the show having so little downtimeWhen that happened, Fuwa said it was better to leave him alone to let him grieve. Also, Izu dying was partially Fuwa and Yua's fault since they ruined her attempt to talk Horobi down by threatening to destroy him and all the Humagears he gathered, justifying Horobi's bias against humans, but the show doesn't really acknowledge this iirc. Ultimately the only time Fuwa really gives Aruto a pep talk during the final arc is when he tries to stop him from getting to Horobi with his Orthros form.
>>23815536>I guess this is an advantage of Takahashi being forced to start slow which I appreciateThis happened in the fast half of Zeztz though, not the slow one. But the cops have honestly been pretty lacking throughout the whole show so far, it's very rare for them to have moments like these.
I’ve been working over in England for past month so I just got caught up on the past few episodes, shit that went in a completely different direction than expected. Is this new nigga’s costume seriously pajamas and a bathrobe???
>>23815432>Mo
Now that Minami isn't actually his sister, can Baku have sex with Minami?
It's like Lord Three took aim from outer space and then shot him in the shoulder again
>>23815328Like- Orderm is cool enough and I want to understand his connection to Catastrom's Nightmare - Lots of cool reveals- Fujimi calling Odaka's bullshit.- The reason Recovery wouldn't have worked was explained.Dislike - I still can't like Sieg. They should have recycled Snakeman from Ryuki. He was a good psycho character, he was sensual and made women have women moments. Sieg is just lame.- The power up didn't feel as well earned as Catastrom and Inazuma. Baku beating his lifelong fear or giving his his soul to a monster to become the embodiment of destruction way way more impactful than saving imouto. I do recognize that he he's got his reasons to doubt her after all de CODE fuckery.-Nox's response. He's still a retard.- I thought Minami would be all beaten up IRL at the start of the chapter. I understand why would they need to chicken out but it made the ending of the last episode less impactful. If Minami wouldn't look like a homely goblin, I'd like the false incest shipping. Nem clears easily.
>>23815662Inazuma is the most unearned of his upgrades. Baku just gets randomly sucked into flashback world, witnesses what he thinks was his first bad luck incident, realizes some of his memories got erased, says he needs the power to get the fuck out of there and immediately wills a power-up into existence to do it, all in the span of just over half an episode, and it was a power-up he didn't even need because Nox and his Nightmare are fucking jobbers that get shitstomped by Zeztz's regular forms.
>>23815662>I thought Minami would be all beaten up IRL at the start of the chapter. I understand why would they need to chicken outShe should've been because the show repeatedly established that dream stuff affects reality. Her waking self should've also been injured, especially considering they didn't even use Recovery to at least heal her wounds from the severe beatdown that Catastrom had just given her.
>>23815530>as emotional as I thought it would for some reason. And I think Minami's twist didn't quite pay off when looking back on how much they were building up to it, since her role in the show and her relationship with Baku pretty much stayed the same in the end. This sours the whole episode for me. I don’t see the point in the twist if it changes nothing about their relationship of dynamic.
>>23815523>they don't really explain why CODE decided to keep her in the dark about itBecause she was basically blackmailed to join CODE and as soon as Baku defects, she basically does the same. She wasn't loyal to them, but to Baku so of course they wouldn't tell her anything about it. And if CODE did anything to her, Baku would go Postal on CODE.In the Real world, Odaka just woke up and didn't take much time for him to seek Minami and he's generally retarded enough for Fujime to call on his bullshit. You can take the first half as it is treated in the show: A dream. Maybe not everything would go as that dream. The dreamers, how Nem would wake up and such. Or maybe Nox didn't know about Minami but The Lady did and told him this time but not in the first half because it wasn't that important since their plans where going just as fine until Nox was killed by Baku.>>23815662> I thought Minami would be all beaten up IRL at the start of the chapter. Same here. Considering they got away with shooting people in the head and how bad Kureha got after fighting Sieg, I thought we were going for maximum suffering. Kinda disappointed, kinda glad we didn't. I like Minami and wouldn't want her to step back for a while because of that.
Fujimi is the most morally inconsistent character in all Kamen Rider history. He wanted to imprison Baku for (very rightfully) killing Nox in his premonition, but criticizes Nox fighting CODE despite them being responsible for killing Baku and, by extension, Nox.For the record, he is right that Nox's way of fighting CODE is stupid, and I am pleasantly surprised somebody mentions that, despite their evil deeds, they are the only organization out there fighting the Nightmares threatening all the planet. And that wanting to destroy it entirely is a bad decision. But he's hated people for lesser crimes.
>>23815688>>23815810Orderm restoring Minami after failing to do it with Recovery would have given the chapter a higher dramatic weight. Missed opportunity there.
>>23815212Finished watching ep 30. Pretty decent stuff. So Baku was adopted by Minami's parents, who were CODE agents. Then they died. Minami was in the dark until then, and then she took up her parents' job of surveiling Baku.I like that it means that the first two decades of their life, their relationship was real. No subterfuge by Minami. It helps give weight to her going along with CODE to surveil Baku, because she just wanted to protect him and doesn't want to lose him to other CODE agents taking over.So the Orderm form seems to be the reverse of Catastrom. Its taking the Catastrophe Gore Nightmare's entropic, destructive power and reversing it. Neat. Also, it was nice seeing Sieg have a "oh fuck" moment, when Baku pimpslapped the cat nightmare out of Minami.
>>23815820Who was the most morally inconsistent character in Kamen Rider beforehand?
>>23815711The fact nothing changed was the entire point. Despite the majority of Baku's life being revealed to be orchestrated by CODE in one way or another, he still has a genuine relationship with his sister. You can dislike the presentation, but the reasoning behind the plot is sound.>>23815820You're comparing a kneejerk reaction Fujimi had in the heat of the moment after getting a ton of info dumped on him, to his plea to a friend after having time to digest everything.
>>23815820I don't really see it as inconsistent, Odaka was his partner and cousin so he unprofessionally lets his emotions get the best of him when Baku kills him, even in the previous loop he doesn't try arrest Baku despite being pissed off because he has context and knows that Baku is the only one who can save them unlike the recap.Basically he's just really against killing other humans.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xfVnrX2_2lwThe episode.
>>23815956>Odaka was his cousin???>even in the previous loop he doesn't try arrest Baku despite being pissed off because he has context and knows that Baku is the only one who can save them unlike the recap. No, he expressed his frustration over not being able to arrest Baku for killing his precious Odaka because CODE outranked the PSB.
Everyone was just ignoring Sieg at the end kek
>>23815837>their relationship was real. No subterfuge by Minamiand thats kinda the main crux of the deal. even if they arent blood related, Minami was always Baku's sister, she might be a CODE agent, but probably she only had a brief training regime and her only mission as an agent was to look over Baku, something she was already doing even before that.CODE, again, were the ones making a mountain out of a anthill by blackmailing her, the only reason she took on the 'job' was because she didnt wanted to be separated from him. at the end of the day, Nox is completely right on how CODE is behind every single bad thing happening in the series, and i wouldnt be surprised if the Nightmares as a whole were created by them.
>>23816159We literally saw the scene of baku getting taken out by a meteor this episode, unless they reveal code is responsible for baku's bad luck I'm kinda fine with the "if you won't protect him we'll get someone else".Them creating the nightmares would be the only thing I'd consider evil at this point. Everything else has been the fucked up kind of shit I expect from organizations code is based on. But I will say the school indoctrination stuff we haven't gotten into yet is at a "maybe".
>>23816166the thing is, that yeah. CODE created Baku's bad luck too.it has been implied so far that CODE were the ones who implanted C.Gore/Catastrom into Baku, and it is the power of that Nightmare that gave him his bad luck.
>>23816166>Them creating the nightmares would be the only thing I'd consider evil at this pointIt's never been implied that they created the Nightmares, we don't know what their origin is yet.
>>23816159>Nox is completely right on how CODE is behind every single bad thing happening in the seriesIt's not CODE's fault that Nox and The Lady willingly chose to resort to terrorism and civilian endangerment in their crusade against them.
>>23816198>LA SEÑORA-The moment they discovered that from her dreams a baby was born out of nowhere (Nemu), CODE decided straight to take the baby for experiments, they said it so bluntly.>Nox.-CODE refused to bring backup for what it seemed to be a crucial mission against a Nightmare, and due to that Nox was forced to wander the dream world for lord knows how long.oh sure, they are still assholes, and probably if Baku didnt stopped za bomba, all the nightmares that happened in the dream would have occurred again. and also yeah, CODE is still the only organization around aware of the problem the Nightmares cause and the only ones fighting against them, but one can make the argument that if CODE were a bit more caring towards its personal and not treating them as mere disposable tools, nothing like this would have happened.
>>23816223None of that is an excuse to commit terrorism and harm innocents that have nothing to do with CODE just to get back at them. Baku was also betrayed by CODE but he's not butthurt nor evil enough to resort to this kind of shit, Nox and The Lady are fully responsible for their own actions and should be held accountable for their crimes. These guys claim they want to make the world a better place but their way of doing so is by plunging it into chaos and destruction.
>>23816223>Nox was forced to wander the dream world for lord knows how long.It was like a year at most, it was said he went missing about a year ago.>but one can make the argument that if CODE were a bit more caring towards its personal and not treating them as mere disposable toolsIt's not like Nox and The Lady are any better in that regard. They attempted to assassinate a retired Agent, The Lady relishes in Baku's suffering, Nox fucking died working on a mission for The Lady, and he can't even comprehend Minami's value as a person.
>>23815430Hey, be nice to him.Its his first time conveying something to someone else.
Calling it now, Baku's string of bad luck was because of a Gore Nightmare targeting and playing pranks with him. Reminds of that manhwa with that dude being targeted by one evil deity that wanted to possess him and another that targeted him through an avatar because he wanted him dead before the other deity got to him
>>23816416Go back.
i hate low quality rips
>>23816436>>23815329I forgot, updated.
Catastrom casting off his muscles to become spoopy skeleton Orderm was pretty cool.
>>23816433Where do i even go back when i've been on /krg/ since Ex Aid?
Baku is basically Lain at this point, only with dreams instead of the early 2000s internet.
