Having watched the show used to the "Ideon is the most powerful godlike mecha in existance" from memes and SRW, it's kind of funny that it spends most of the show as a kind of meh robot that mostly punches things. It doesn't get it's trademark weapons until past the halfway point and doesn't really become ridiculously powerful until the very last episodes. I guess Be Invoked is more known culturally than the show is

Basically every episode has the Buff Clan enemy in charge of the story arc going "This is how we'll kill those Logo Dau Aliens and seize the Ide this week and it will totally work" often with a unique enemy robot, Ideon stops it and they go "Onore Giant we'll get you next time"
