History repeating itself and only mobile suits being buried underground and staying fully functional for kajillions of years in a world of victorian ass studio ghibli characters was silly. It felt like i was watching the imagination of a 9 year old playing with all the mismatching toys he had.

You mean Tomino is a useless, incompetent moron unable to do a good or cohesive show since 45 years ?

Yes we know.

Actually it's A

If you can't enjoy the juxtaposition of late 19th century American culture with space robots you are a brainlet. What am I saying, the kids these days wouldn't know culture unless social media told them about it.

>19th century American culture

Lmfao nobody gave a shit about america then

You can't even write a cohesive sentence.

Turn A is the best gundam and you're a (baiting) pleb. That epilogue with the song, damn.
I'm glad Tomino got all the killing and downer shit out of his system before making Turn A. I watched Dunbine and all the dumb deaths in the finale makes it feel like a parody. Then motherfucker did it again in Zeta.

100% this. It's a truly beautiful show with timeless design and very memorable characters.

The ending did have me tear up a bit because I'm not afraid of my emotions.

They were burried in a living nanomachine blanket (produced by Turn A), that kept them in working condition. You can see in the Turn A bunker a lot of machines that were made for it were worn away by time that weren't buried by said nanomachines.

It was okay. i wouldn't say it's great, but i also wouldn't really say it sucked. It had a better story than Wing, but that's not much of an accomplishment. Overall i'd say it's Gundam for people who do not like Gundam. People who praise Turn A the most also tend to shit on more other Gundam shows while people who like most or all of the other main entries tend to have a low opinion of Turn A. The argument usually goes something like:
>"This isn't anything like the other shows!"
>"That's because the other shows are SHIT!"
>"That doesn't even look like a Gundam!"
>"That's because it had a REAL designer unlike all the others which are SHIT!"
Honestly the main reason i like Turn A is because it lets me troll people with the fact that, according to Black History lore, the show they hate the most is the inevitable future of the show they love the most. That and trolling ZZ haters with the fact that Turn A is basically a more fleshed out and expanded version of the stupid Moon Moon story (ancient statue is really an MS, old tech is forbidden, moonies want to export their weird philosophy to Earth, identical twins whose boyfriends can't tell them apart, etc, etc).

is any of those things sillier than the premise of a giant metal man that defies the square cube law?
>>
>>23822302
>square cube law
Doesn't exist.

>>23821803
Don't expect serial complainers to have watched the show.

In mecha square cube law does not exist, check your 3DPD physics at the door. FEGGIT
>>
>>23822302
>>23822653
Square cube law only applies to something pre existing being scaled up. It's entirely irrelevant.
>>
>>23822584
it does.

Do americans really?
>>
>>23822666
Do you think dinosaurs violated it?
A gundam or any other mech is the same way.
>identified by Galileo in 1638, states that as an object is scaled up
> is scaled up
You are not as smart as you think.
>>
>>23821283
I find it kind of poetic that the MS indirectly killed Zeon down to its very idea while the Zaku itself survived into the far future, completely divorced of its origins.

This is the funniest part of the show. And some scaled down Hygog
>>
>>23822676
Gundams and mobile suits are not scaled up versions of pre-existing things. They violate it in no way. Massive dinosaurs were the same way.
>>
>muh dinosaurs
>>
>>23822682
It's a real life example. Do explain how I am wrong about gundams and mobile suits.
>>
>>23822682
You have to admit it's a good example. On our very same Earth in the very same physics conditions very large things bigger than MS were moving under their own power.

So who is not to say that in a more advanced scientific society one could create something along the lines of a mobile suit.
>>
>>23822712
He probably thinks dinosaurs weren't real or something. Or that rockets aren't real and we never been to the moon.
