Support attacks are OP so they work out great but the possible attack boost you get for putting an attacker pilot in anything else really isn't worth it.
I guess in theory with a tanky enough supporter you could have it apply a debuff and then have it scapegoat for someone but it would take some impressive baseline stats to have something that can trade a hit in ML and live so it can support defend, or have the range for a free hit and then double support defense

They should add more ways to farm rare resources and get rid of the stupid fucking GP store. Burning 900 balls a month for a SSR lb mat and maybe 1 UR weapon mat is shitty as hell, might as well make them exchangeable for the capital directly

Making a separate SP-SSP for SR and below would be nice too. It's really hard for me to justify burning them on units that will always be strictly worse when there's plenty of interesting SSR units that get crazy benefits from SSP.

With all the time I hope they really go through everything a bit more thoroughly and shore up some of the current losers. There are a number I feel like should be better even in just SSRs, the disparity between upgrades is pretty huge for no reason. A huge amount of all the SRs and beneath could be significantly better without really infringing on anything in terms of power with a mix of 5-10% skills added suited for their archetypes. URs will always be better for so many reasons so it's not really impacting their bottom line in anyway, it's really the strength of the game already that you can actually get access to so many units for free and without RNG.

SSP needs to be completely reworked so it doesn't suck ass
