These are the SSRs you need to keep an eye on

For the shops, keep an eye on G shop, you need to buy the rainbow weapon material for your UR EX weapon and SSR unit LB material, those refresh every month. To get GP just keep spamming Ball dev in the OYW Gundam tree, keep making them and then scrap them. Unfortunately this is the only way to get GP coins, tedious but the fastest. The other G shop item you might want are the supporter ships, especially the protagonist and rival one, just buy it whenever you have time to grind GP coins, they don't go anywhere .

If you wants a pilot to cast MP up for sure, the enemy you are fighting must be able to be killed in 1 hit.
Also putting S1 Setsuna in 00R is not as effective as putting S2 Setsuna in 00R. With the 100% tag boost and GN Field lv3, it makes 00 FBT a viable tank for your team.

raise your sazabi, qubeley and phenex, these attackers can carry you majority of the time. Pharact 2, Nu, Impulse and Aerial are great line up of support, you're probably good on that category for a while. I see you have Io as defender, while his unit is meh he's one of the rare double defender so you're going to field him pretty much everywhere, he's the case of the pilot being more valuable than the unit so you can pretty much slot him in any defenders you want, preferably EFSF unit since he buffs that tag, but even if you can't field EF unit he's still a must run in every mission until you get better double defender.

You have 4 good choices there in the form of God, Destiny, 00 Raiser or Hi-Nu. The first two are great, 00R made 20% tankier/hitter is a big boon, and Hi-Nu is still the best Attacker choice if you want to run a LF team.
There's other good ones, but they're not limited and I feel you shouldn't spend UR mats on stuff that can spook you.

I hope we won't have to wait another year for a chance to get some of the limited URs, that kind of approach will not age well if the game is meant to last.

Absolutely. It might take forever, but anything that can be done through grinding is better done that way than using an SSR part just because you're impatient. Never know how long the gacha will hold out on you for a copy of a gacha-exclusive SSR, especially as the pools continue to grow larger.

It's why I'm having to wait on 0080 to return because I apparently missed a limit break on one of the SSRs back then.

They ought to do this sort of thing more often, either by permanently giving lower ranks bigger boosts (maybe not a full 100, not even sure if there's a way to really balance that sort of thing), or going even further and adding SR-and-below and R-and-below tags with their own big boosts.

There's at least someone out there who would be happy to field a team of SP'd Zaku I and GM variants in an ML and not have them immediately die to the opponent's breathing.

As far as ones you can develop, yeah, since there were gacha-exclusive ones as well rolling around. I just somehow missed one, I did the same back with the IBO Gekko event somehow, but that one's back to being available. I'm sure 0080 is gonna be announced as coming back once the next roadmap hits, it's just a matter of waiting.

Ah, there was an IBO Gekko event? I take it that we got an 0080 event the same way we just got one for 08th. Couldn't handle the boss fights at all, but I still managed to build one of each unit, since I didn't know when it would come back. As for it's alternate version being worse...well, true, maybe, but the whole draw of G Gen is just using as much as possible so I say any major variant should be in the game at some point, that would be my ideal.

This reminds me of the effort I had to go through to make the GP02 work in Overworld, everything from reducing EN costs to fixing the thing's accuracy issues to just taping a fucking deuterium beam emmiter on the flagship and a receiver on the fat fuck. After that it was fun to just blow shit up. Thing is you can just buff someone with infinite chance steps and have them clean the whole map with minimum support and much less effort.

when I first played OW years ago I got sick of how bad and slow it is to get anywhere and just cheated max money and exp multipliers around the sea of lorelei map

fuck I was so fucking right, this game is so fucking slow to get anything done, progression is lethargic, you need so much capital to build a team with pilots that don't suck ass or parts to make up for using pilots that suck ass, and unlocking parts needs you to clear maps one by one so you're stuck massacring zakus either way, or a ship that doesn't make you wanna play russian roulette with a bullet on the chamber, for God's sake the first good one is the goddamn Turn A turtles and they cost 300k

It seems fairly popular, and depending on what they want to do, doesn't it have a semi-recent expansion on it, whatever FF is? Fastest Formula was an 11 volume long manga spanning 5 years and it's immediately followed by the sequel Cluster which is looking to be at least as long so there's definitely material to use here. not trying to doompost or anything but isn't the content adding pace for this game a bit too fast, I personally enjoy the pace but this can't be healthy for the game in the long term.
full-TV-anime-wise we are already down to just Turn A, g-reco and build fighters.

I figured they would be saving heavy hitters like EW and 00S2 for 2nd anni or something, not dumping them both on the same day for our first anni, I know that there's a ton of side-medias like the mangas and video games but none of them are really big sells if I have to be honest, we will be out of major content by the end of next year unless they introduce some original story or something.

It is entirely possible for them to run out within 3 years it's true. It really depends on how they funnel out the rest of it, but at the same time, stuff like Cross Dimension and Blue Destiny shows they aren't entirely afraid of doing smaller event stories.

You also forgot V Gundam as a full anime, and then there's Crossbone stuff most likely to get in, plenty of OYW sidestories they could do modes for, even just the ones that had stories in Genesis, there's Trailblazer, SEED Freedom and more Astray possibly, at least one 00 sidestory that had a story mode in Cross Rays, etc.

Not to mention I'm imagining Turn A and V at least are gonna get split into two parts, and we still got AGE part two as well to go. I do think original stuff, even if it's just crossover events rather than actual OG story, would help the longevity.

It's really up in the air, the next roadmap might be an interesting indicator of where they wanna go.
