So what's going on with Baku anyway? Generally, the show has been trying to tell us that nightmares are derived from someone's subconscious. They're rooted in a person's fears, anger, despair, etc., etc. But Baku had a nightmare of the end of the world when he was a newborn infant, long before he should have been capable of conceiving such a thing.
