Reminder that Tobia is one of the greatest Gundam protagonists out there:>starts as a lowly grunt who manages to fight on par with veterans in a fucking Pez Batalla of all things>piloted ALL the Crossbone Gundams from X-0 to X-3>plunges his girl from her evil big bad father like a pirate and even starts a family with her>disregards all the Newtype bullshit like the stupid nonsense it is and gets his point proven with the MC from Ghost>saves the Earth in Steel 7>does so again in Ghost, 20 years later despite being fucking blind and mentors the next generation in the processAbsolutely based and sadly, that is exactly why a series will never adapt Crossbone, his feats and direct personality just makes everyone else look bad, especially the last 3 gundam entries or so
Wat I like the most of the Crossbones is its utilitarian aspect.Its a high spec machine yes but most of the time we get to see it in action it is forced to use a lot of its arsenal/features in non conventional ways, without having to recurr to any stupid magical tech aspect often involved in other gundam series
i think if you scour the internet archive you can find some really shitty scanlations of the full manga
