>>23861878I think it's pretty kit dependent, I lot of HGs I have still have bare minimum torso articulation with ab crunches that only go maybe 5 degrees and very poorly executed butterflies. Skirting on HGs also typically fucking sucks hard (especially anything polycap era) and really gets in the way of the legs. Again, this is very kit-by-kit, but I have several 2.0 era MGs that still outpose their HG counterparts by a good bit. (I haven't really had KPS looseness issues either, but I always put in extra effort to tweak tolerances so maybe that's why) As to what is an optimal "play size", it's literally completely objective. I've seen guys that only like super tiny shit and turn their noses to anything taller than 8cm. I have some TF shit and Voyager/Leader/Masterpiece scale stuff are around the size of your average MG and I find them plenty fun to handle and mess with, so long as they're toleranced properly and don't flop about. A lot of girlpla is also around that tall, especially third party, not a big deal to mess with.
