WfM exploded in a way that was really surprising, and had reach outside the usual audience for mecha. A lot of people also used that as an excuse to drag friends in who wouldn't have otherwise given any Gundam a shot, which was nice.G-quuux did well initially between the striking look and riding a lot on WfM's success but at least in my experience, seems to have lost a lot of people. Some non-Gundam fans I knew who were watching it actually liked the initial OYW flashback stuff, but it'd really lost them by the end.Before some autist says otherwise this isn't a judgement of the shows, just what I saw in audiences.
