Because the show frames it as thousands of years of UC, then Black History and Armageddon, resulting in Correct Century, followed by Regild during which the calendar is apparently corrected again. Banrise's "all timelines" shit contradicts the show by pushing all the AUs into the timeline, and according to them Regild is before CC which doesn't even make any sense because they also let Tomino make the Lucifer's moonlight butterfly even more prominent in the HD bluray redraws.
