While I heard it was announced earlier this year (https://www.gematsu.com/2026/02/dead-or-alive-new-project-announced-for-ps5), I do think Yamazaki dying might delay production until a new seiyuu for Ayane is found.

Since then, we've worked together on various projects and become good friends.
