>called Mass Production Type>only produced limitedWhat gives?
Mass Production (if we get around to it)
>>23866920You have your concept test shot unit, with all the bells and whistles and MC bullshit, and you only make like one or two of them, to see if it works. Then you realize it costs too much so you make a trimmed version that's more fit for mass production, but in limited quantities to see if buyers are interested. Then they buy it and go "shit man, make it cheaper we don't need all that" and all your engineers become depressed and design a conversion kit for GM IIs that were actually originally OYW GMs
>>23866920That's the joke, yes. You can call it whatever you like and work hard to make it fulfill that purpose but if it's not accepted then it's just an ironic name.
>>23866920>What gives?they did the logistics for your personal tabletop campaign
>>23866920>Hyakumorph
>>23866920they got quickly outdated by advancing tech
>>23866920They were designed for mass production, but were cancelled during the trial phase. It is kind of dumb they called them Mass Produced though. They should've just called it something else
Tax write off
Anaheim just shotgun blasts MP types for every mobile suit they've ever made in the hopes eff or some insurgent group is willing to fork over the cash to buy a bunch of them. Most of them don't pan out but if just one does they've secured a contract for at LEAST the next two weeks until the next war starts
>>23866920Mecha designers are just big fans of 70s-90s motorsport (especially rally and GTs) and think that there is nothing more reasonable than a "mass production" car that had 2 units produced and both sold to dealerships owned directly by said company to put on display.
>>23866920It has been said that the MP Zeta lost to the MP Hyakushiki. Not sure to what extent the MP Hyakushiki was produced. An MP Hyakushiki Kai did appear in the Wearwolf manga and FA Hyakushiki Kai and Land Combat type do exist.
