I'll say it again.ExDream debuting while the CODE plot was ongoing resulted in wonky writing. Besides being forced to give it up because plot, there's scenes where he switches to using the Dualmare forms. Not only did Orderm not have much spotlight, but the Dualmare forms felt enough to fight CODE. With time I've understood the significance behind I BELIEVE IN MY DREAM, showing Zero has the last laugh because of his confidence in Zeztz and knowing Baku wouldn't need his help anymore, but I think it could have extra impact if ExDream was the payoff to that line, especially since it would feel like the physical embodiment of the dream Zero believes in.

I’ve never seen Gotchard but it looks incredibly fun from an outsiders perspective who’s been lurking here for a few years. The gimmick looks very toyetic, childish and fun, some of the action scenes I’ve been shown like the fire gotchard debut are roaring with energy, it has some fun Henshin sounds from what I’ve heard, and the suits are so fucking charming with how out of this world the designs get. Rainbow Gotchard might just be my favorite toku suit (pic related, this custom SHF is fucking gorgeous) I even find the idea of the lead roles being played by terribly green actors entertaining. On paper, as a fan of schlock and good lighthearted nippon shonen ningen power style media, Gotchard to me is looking like a good ol time, however I’ve only ever heard it’s straight up boring or at worst, the worst season of kamen rider point blank.
