It'd be funny and a little headscratching if part of the announcement is that they knew that the previous DLC guys didn't really interact much with base characters at all outisde of their DLC stages so they're putting in all the interactions as a separate update.

Y has been a bit of a letdown for me. Besides Godzilla and Endless Waltz it doesn’t really have a lot going for it. The Majestic Prince, Macross Delta, and L-Gaim stuff really burnt me out. I think I just enjoy having a ton of UC Gundam in these games because V is still my favorite despite all the Nadesco enemies breaking the pacing with their shitty fucking barriers and their cancerous Char clone with All Counter.

started playing GC, got to the point where i unlocked capturing, how much time and effort should i put into maxing out amuro's weapons for convenience? i'm at five bars right now and that pretty much disables anything's arms in one hit from one of his bigger attacks. just trying to figure out the balance between devoting three turns to completely disabling one single unit and just destroying it. i don't think any of the units i can get from capture are going to be amazing and i know the game isn't very hard, but it seems like a waste to just ignore an interesting system that doesn't show up in modern SRW
