Why would you even want to watch something that was made for animation in the first place? I could get wanting a higher-budget version of a tokusatsu property (like those Anno Shin movies), but those were made with live-action in mind from the beginning.
Adapting stuff like Gundam, One Piece or Bebop into live-action seems like overcompensation for something and completely pointless from a creative standpoint.

There are some genuinely good adaptions around. Like the US Protestant take on the Constantine comics the movie had was fun. Somebody in the pipe line calculated what the audience could actually comprehend and even accounted for Keanu being only capable of acting like a terminal dope head.
