The Alliance members went into slumber and woke up 100 years later, they don't know anything about the MC and his mysterious Driver, some of them want him to join the Alliance and others want to take his belt, and Maou's getting Rid (whose user is seemingly a modern day man and may or may not be the first ever Rid) to spy on him and his mistress.
