Is anybody thinking about getting the SMP Lion? This is something I definitely want to pick up but I'm not sure about the quality.
I just want to say thanks to everyone who posts here. I take a minimum of 30 days before I engage with a new hobby to see if the interest is legitimate or passing. The posts in gpg have helped steer me toward getting into gunpla at an entry level and seeing where it goes. Snapshit 30MM Novalv out of curiousity. Its been 2 years since i stopped buying 30MM and apparently Bandai turned this line into full blown Entry Grade. It is fully touchgated and very hollowed out.

>>24034497This is probably the wrong gold paint for the job. The super metallic has a lot of fleck in it so you don't get the plated look you want. Alclad II golds are probably what you want. If you only have access to mr.color paints for some reason the normal H9 gold gives a very gold plated look.Then just make sure you gloss coat it afterwards. It still won't look like the phenix but it'll be as close as you can get without chrome.

Hello. Its my first time building a kotobukiya kit, and I require to glue some of the parts. I have never glued parts before, the guide says to use CA Glue or epoxy but isn't specific on what brands or other supplies I will need. Can someone tell me what specific products I may need in terms of glues, things to apply the glues, and things to hold the pieces in place while the glue cures?Thank you in advance and I apologize if this is a newbie question.

There are lots of brands of "plastic cement" out there and honestly they're pretty much all fine so whatever is easiest for you to grab is probably cool but the applicators in various Mr Hobby and Tamiya products are nicer than a lot of the alternatives.
