What is it about Bandai's blue plastic that makes it such a pain in the ass? It's always the color that has an issue.

Finished one of the Gui Gui (ä¹–ä¹–)Acguy Have to color all the missing colors. It is a solid design engineering wise. The material is also okay but I think the biggest issue is with the black/gray part. The kit has a lot of flashes that you have to deal with specially with the black/gray pieces. I don't know it is because of the materials or just bad molding with the gray/black plastic There is also of flashes and strange bumps of plastic here and there but nothing you can't solve. Though for the command version, the instruction tell you to plug in the face mask but there's nothing for the mask to plug it into. It don't stay secure, it is holding on with a sticky tac for now. I don't know if that's an oversights or if I did something wrong. Definitely a solid 8/10 kit. It's a bit lacking in articulation because the legs have no rotating joints besides the feet. If the legs have more movements or no flashes problems it would be a solid 9. And no, the extra stuff for the commander does not have any articulation. It is fine. Anyway Does anybody has a good recommendation in turn of Tamiya enamel brush paint thinning ratio? I am using 1:1 but the coat doesn't really provide enough color coverage even after 3 coats.

After building so much FAGs and MDs, I decided to get my first Megalomaria; the Maria Dress Code, and I'm surprised to see how small the runners are and the low overall piece count is. I'm so used to Koto girlpla having so much extra bulk and accessories that its nice to have a build that's simple and straight to the point.Despite being more complex and having much more articulation, I think she just took as much time to build as a 30MS girl.

I need some helps guysSo I use mostly Tamiya's TS lacquer can spray I tried to add some black to some small vents using Tamiya's own enamel. The problem is the laqcer I used is gloss. So the enamel paint doesn't really stay too well as everytime a new coat would reactivate the previous coat and you can again see the color- as the early didn't really bite into the surface for it being gloss. I wonder if I can semi or full flat coat the gloss paint before any enamel handbrushing? And I if can, is it still possible to clean up any stray paint by using thinner/zippo fluid without damaging the semi/full matt surface? I know full gloss clear from Tamiya doesn't react to enamel thinner at all. Is it the same for the semi/flat clear?

>>24042233When I started, at first I would use cardboard boxes, then I upgraded to a large storage tub with some cheap PC fans in the back wired up to a USB fan controller, and an LED light strip taped to the inside, then a cheap air filter over the fans to catch most of the paint. That worked for years but eventually the plastic became brittle and it broke. Now I use a cheap folding one from Amazon that was like...100 bucks or so, works great.

Got the new Hemoxian Girlpla. Love the schizo anime WW2 aesthetic. The package is just so goddamn extra. You get a whole fucking dossier of a lore book, some pretend photos, files, letters in that brown fake parchment/old paper. I can really appreciate the autism to sell the setting. The little lore package shows off other girls and machines, so they might have some further plans for this series down the line.I really love the whole Valkyria Chronicles look this thing has and I wish there were more girlpla or even just full blown mecha with this aesthetic. Hell, just give me a new Valkyria Chronicles game too while you're at it.
